Styled Shopping Deluxe Rainbow Hanging Hammock Swing Chair

This is a pretty, comfortable swing chair. My only complaint is in its construction. The rope knots that give definition to the arm rests were too small and after a short time slipped through the holes in the armrest. These ropes held the seat in position, so the chair essentially collapsed. I was able to add a knot after getting everything back in position, but I’ve lost some confidence in the integrity of the chair.

Comfortable chair with design flaws. It has a wide seat, arm rests and a slightly reclined back. However, three minutes after hanging it one arm rest knot slipped through the hole causing the front arm rest to fall. Photo no. 1. Not cool! We had to take the knot out slip it back through and retie the rope while keeping it tight. Three stars because it was so comfortable despite our difficulty.Edit: Had swing for one week and back of arm rest fell through knot. Photo no. 2. Item is only worth 2 stars. Serious design flaw. The ropes need to stay tight and knots are essential to keep swing comfortable. The right armrest isn’t quite right after we had to retie it. Disappointed.

got this to replace the one that broke on my daughter. its better and more comfy

I received this hammack chair in June, 2012 and had my handy-man install it between two trees using a large board. It is the most comfortable seat outside my home. I also have a swing (comfortable), rocker patio chairs (comfortable) and a cedar tree bench (very useful seating and always available and with the back support, also comfortable). The only thing that could have been improved would be the colors available.

My Wife got this as a Gift for 25 years of service at a job. It's AWESOME!!! We hooked it to a patio support with a heavy duty HOOK via a S hook and Chain to an "o" connection on the swing. Don't worry-took about 10 minutes total! It is Soooooooo relaxing AND well made. I'm here now to buy 2 more! Worth every penny! Treat yourself! Swing....Twirl. you deserve it!

When you sit in it the bottom, being soft, just flops down and curves around your butt like those kids park swings. I intend to insert a wooden base underneath the cushion so it'll be a proper seat. It is in every other way a beautiful strong and well made product.

This is the third hammock swing that I have purchased from Amazon.com and by far, this one has been my favorite. The vibrant colors and durable seat make this hammock total comfort for a nice quiet day of reading or relaxation. The material is of high quality and the threading on the sides give you a feeling of security. The hammock holds up to 200lbs of weight and everyone who visits wants to try it out. I have recommended it to several of my friends and neighbors. Amazon.com is definately the site to visit for all your outdoor needs or any other product, for that matter.

I could not believe it. The swing chair came BEFORE the items that I ordered with it came from Amazon! Normally none Amazon shipped items come many days after Amazon shipped items. This hammock beat Amazon by 2 days!!!One problem with chair (4 stars not 5) was one of the knots on the front of the arm rests pulled through the dowel hole within 10 minutes of use...knot is to small. I was able to pull/force it back, WITH SOME..MUCH...EFFORT, and solved the problem by wrapping the cotton rope around the dowel once.....modified their design a bit. Chair now works fine. Fabric breathes and is comfortable. If it hadn't been for that one minor problem (some people would not find it minor....I'm an engineer who loves to fix things) I would have given it 5 stars.
