Yaufey 31 Pint Dehumidifier for Basement Home 2500 Sq. Ft. with Drain Hose

Bought this dehumidifier to replace an old one in my cellar. Summers are very humid in the coastal New England area. In order to maintain a dry mold free environment, a dehumidifier is an absolute necessity. Product was delivered promptly and extremely well packaged to prevent any damage. Unpacking and set up took about 10 minutes. Easy to use, set humidity levels, fan speed, etc. Smaller foot print, not as heavy, and quieter than my old one. I have a nearby laundry tub, so I opted for the continuous drain feature. Please note I had to elevate the dehumidifier up to the sink level (used an old dog crate) because the drain tube must flow downwards. I have a large cellar with 3 doorways going into separate rooms. It worked like a charm. Humidity went from 80 to 42 in about a day and a half. Very happy with it.

This item is the Boss! My sump pump went out and I had 1" of water in my basement. I used my carpet cleaner to suck up the water, turned on fans and didn't see the humidity go down. This Humidifier was a great price and easy set up. Once it arrived I turned it on. Couldn't believe how much water it collected within a few hours. So easy to use, it shows the % of humidity that's current. The air feels and smells fresh! What relief. Great Buy! Get it!

I am very pleased with this dehumidifier. It does an excellent job removing excess moisture from the air and has made a noticeable difference in the comfort of my home. Within just a short time, the room felt less damp, and the air felt much fresher. One of my favorite features is how quietly it operates. Even when running continuously, the noise level is minimal and never disruptive. It's perfect for use in living areas, bedrooms, or a home office where a loud appliance would be distracting. The unit is also easy to set up and use. The controls are straightforward, the water tank is easy to empty, and the overall build quality feels durable and well-made.

This unit (Yaufey 80 pint dehumidifier) does a great job taking down the humidity in my basement. The operation is simple and runs surprisingly quiet. I was impressed how much humidity/water it will take out of the air! I did have an issue with the unit after a couple years, contacted Yaufey customer service. They promptly addressed the issue. I was very pleased with the solution and the customer support I received. I do recommend this unit.

I bought this dehumidifier a year ago and it worked great. It kept my basement at the humidity setting of 45% all summer during the most humid months. It pulled a lot of moisture out of the air and the water bin shutoff worked as expected every time. The dehumidifier was quiet, both fan and compressor noise. I later had a problem and contacted customer support. They responded almost immediately and solved my issue. I would definitely buy this product again. Thank You

First off, this sleek looking unit is a great size and with its wheels it is very easy to roll around. The compressor is very quiet and the fan moves plenty of air, so it does a very good job of keeping my entire basement dry. The most amazing thing about this purchase is the customer support, because after about 10 months of reliable operation I had an issue with the unit, but the problem was resolved hassle free. No product in the world is perfect, but Great Support does make me a happy customer, so the 5 star rating is well deserved.

This dehumidifier works great! It is simple to set up, and the control panel is simple to use. I love that it has 3 fan speeds. It has made such a difference with the humidity and air quality in my home. I had an issue after one month of using it. The unit did not turn off when the bucket was full. I contacted customer service and after trouble shooting the issue, I was told the motherboard may be experiencing a loose connection or a malfunction. I was sent a new unit right away with a prepaid label to return my unit. I chose this dehumidifier because it was Energy Star Certified and the great reviews on customer service. After my experience with customer service, I would give them an A+.

I first purchased the 120 Pint version of this dehumidifier (model number: JD025Q-120) in October 2023. After about two months of use I put it into storage, since my house doesn't have humidity issues in the winter. Around mid-April 2024, I started it back up in my basement, and it was able to keep up with some pretty humid Minnesota summer days. For context, my whole house is about 3,500 square feet. The basement is about 1,750 square feet with an open stairwell leading to the rest of the house. So this one dehumidifier was effectively regulating the entire house, and it was doing a good job too! I have a separate hygrometer I use for monitoring humidity levels, and when I set this dehumidifier to 45%, my hygrometer firmly stayed between 44% and 46% all day every day (unless the tank was full, but that's expected). Everything was going great until mid-June 2024 when I noticed the dehumidifier wasn't collecting as much water as usual. I suspected a refrigerant leak, but I decided to contact Yaufey Support just to make sure. After a couple emails, a support rep confirmed that the unit is probably leaking refrigerant, and offered to replace it. Since I didn't register this dehumidifier on their website, the support rep said I could either pay the shipping to return the old unit and send out the new one, or I could write a product review and they would wave the shipping charges. So, here we are! Honestly, the support rep was very helpful and quite prompt with their replies. That being said, I actually do like this "little" dehumidifier. It was a little bigger than I was expecting when I first purchased it. However, considering it is rated for approx. 6,000 square feet, I'd say it is quite compact and effective at its job! My only complaint is that I wish the collection tank was increased from 1 gallon to 2 or 2.5 gallons. On very humid days, I usually empty the tank before going to work. When I get home about nine-and-a-half hours later, the dehumidifier has (usually) turned itself off because the tank was full. While I would love to make use of the drainage hose, I simply don't have a floor drain to pipe it to. Either way, the dehumidifier usually makes up for lost time quite quickly after the tank has been emptied. Not to mention that only happens on particularly humid days. Most days, the 1 gallon tank is enough to keep up.

I’ve been using this for over a year now, and it’s been a solid little device that has kept my basement bone dry. The dehumidifier has a series of great features; - easy to setup and get running in a couple clicks - has the option of both bucket and hose for water dispersement - it’s super - extremely - quiet, I couldn’t believe it. If you need a good, small, but powerful and quiet unit, this one is for you. They also have exceptionally responsive and helpful customer support, what’s not to love?

Extremely POOR Service by Seller. They supplied faulty product without QC checking at their end and only had excuses to delay the problem.

El baño de mi departamento no tiene buena ventilación y en las fechas qué uno usa agua caliente, la humedad se queda atrapada en el techo y comenzó a levantar la pintura aunque fuera de aceite. Entre ideas como poner un extractor de aire o un ventilador, me recomendaron mejor tener un deshumificador que pudiera guardar en tiempos de calor. Solo lo uso después de bañarme aprox una hora, tiene un lector de humedad (que raramente no coincide con mi otro lector de humedad que es reloj) que puedes configurar para apagarse llegado un límite de humedad en el ambiente y se apaga solo. Lo uso una hora después de bañarme y el tanque se llena en una semana, el cual es super fácil de vaciar, ojalá tuviera espacio para poner su manguera y que se vaciara sola. ES SUPER IMPORTANTE PONERLO EN SU POSICION VERTICAL Y ESPERAR 24HRS ANTES DE USARLO, NO IGNORES LA INSTRUCCIÓN.

I was surprised at the small size as had expected a larger unit. I was happy with the weight as was easy for me to manoeuvre where needed. Very quiet and most efficient. It is supplied with a hose that attaches to a drain so makes maintenance a breeze. I would recommend the purchase of this unit.
