I purchased this for an aunt who grew up in a house very very much like this one! Same porch and front door. I am writing on the 19th of December, and it is in route to the recipient. I assure you she will love it! And it will transport her back in time, to her childhood home (that is no longer standing). Thrilled to have had this option to choose from. The card makes an impressive presentation from every angle. The music and lights bring life to the home. I think there is a cat in one window and a dog also. To make this SUPER special, print the address of your recipient and attach it on the house to personalize it. the card is HEAVY and quite thick. It is nearly 1/2 inch thick. It weighed 3.7 ounces when I put an over package on it. And it cost $3.31 for first class 10 X6. I suggest adding a hearty envelope. You want as much protection on it so the mechanism inside is protected. Also don't put regular stamps on it. Get it hand canceled if you do. You don't want a machine squeezing it. With postage I am nearly $15 but so worth it. If you get the opportunity to hand deliver You would save on the upcharge. Music doesn't play too long but just enough to recognize the tune. I do regret the only space available to write a message is the back yard ground. It's a great card!

This was a very lovely card. Sturdy stock and everything it was advertised to be. However, I decided to return it and receive a full refund. I returned this card with five other items. Five of the items made it back to where they should have been and I was refunded for five. This particular item was lost in transit. I took all items to UPS and they were scanned for return. A refund was refused to me, even though I had the receipt for the return, because this item was never received. I don't think it's fair that I did not receive the full refund. I find it strange that five of six items made it back but this one was lost? Really? I have my doubts about continuing to do business with this compsny if they can refuse to refund a whole $7.50, on principal, when I spend hundreds of dollars, sometimes thousands at one time.

This card is beautiful. It lights up the windows and plays a Christmas Carol. Sound was good. Size was good. Took to my local post office because I was unsure of the postage, only cost me $1.40 to mail it from Ohio to Maine. The only thing that could be improved is the envelope. I've bought other cards that had nicer envelopes. Would have preferred the non lick type and it could have been a little thicker and bigger for how nice the card is. Get a better envelope for a better presentation.

I can't wait to give this card to my friend who sets up an elaborate Dept 56 village every year for Christmas. It is super cute. The card has a lot of detail except for the roof which is just plain white. I assume it's supposed to be a snow-covered roof but it just looks like plain white paper. Otherwise, the card is sturdy, lights up on both the front & back, and plays a nice, short tune. My friend will definitely love this.

I was very impressed by how many little details are crammed into this delightful like card-ornament. Delightful. Unlike other "extra special" cards I bought this year, this card is also a compact, standard size and thickness, so it is regular postage. The foil lining on the envelope is useful to help slide the house in, and is enough of a layer to protect it from damage during mail processing. There is a tiny card that says "Merry Christmas" outside and "to you!" on the inside, which if you write small, you can add a tiny tweet-sized message... and if not, you can put XO and sign your name. Really lovely. Great for anyone delighted by tiny things, or homes, or who likes getting ornaments.

I got this for my good friend that lives in the Netherlands and she was absolutely blown away by its beauty. This is more than just a card. It’s a keepsake as well as a nice presentation item. My friend opened it up and sent me a message right away telling me how much she loved it! She said she put it right next to her manger scene and plans to keep it as long as possible. I was thrilled she liked it because I was looking for the perfect item that would be a nice gift and not something that you just throw away after opening. This fit the bill completely! I highly recommend this as a special gift for a loved one or a far off friend you don’t get to see often... in reality this card works for anyone that holds a special place in your heart. You won’t be disappointed. Neither will whomever receives it. Absolutely beautiful. Very nice.

This is excellent quality of a Christmas card if I have ever given one. It's one for the ages. This has decorations and also the best thing to give for Christmas in general.

This card is absolutely gorgeous with lots of unexpected little details and can be hung on the Christmas tree as a bauble. Very impressed, it's perfect.
