We buy stone crab every year for Valentine's day. We ran short of cutting boards to hammer the shells, so we ordered this one.It was just right for this purpose, but I now am also using it to support hot bowls on my table. It also could be used as a cutting board, but I hadn't needed it for that purpose yet.

Nice small but not to small board,seems to need more oiling than other bamboo board I have.

The "bamboo" started to splinter after using a few times. Not the quality I was expecting...

It is beautiful and looks just like pictured. I an very satisfied and would not hesitate to give it as a gift either.

Hand wash in warm soapy water, followed by a quick rinse and wipe dry. Re-season with cutting board oil about once a month. These bamboo cutting boards are so much nicer than using cutting boards made out of glass or plastic,... plus they last for years and are easy to clean and disinfect. A bamboo cutting board is also kinder to your knifes edge than a glass or plastic cutting board is.This is a very nice looking cutting board, the two tone coloring makes it look so pretty!Sample provided for honest opinion of product.
