Turns pulling dogs into non-pullers!
This is seriously the BEST harness my dog-loving family has ever used! Bella, our super-energetic, mixed-breed rescue, is only about 45 pounds and slender of build, but she's solid muscle and highly energetic. During walks, she gets so excited she darts forward with tremendous force, and it's all you can do to keep the leash from being snatched out of your hand.Collars aren't good for her, because her neck is long and thin, and her fur is super short and sparse. Thus, collars tend to irritate her skin (not enough fur to protect it) and rub off the hair. What about face collars, such as the Gentle Leader? We knew that wouldn't work for her either, because she is sensitive and high-strung and would simply paw at her face the whole time trying to get it off. And that wouldn't be much fun for anybody. (From what I can see, those face collars work best on highly docile dogs). For a few years, we'd resigned ourselves to just get used to her pulling. And I mean PULLING, to the point where your shoulder socket would be sore after a walk. After a particularly unpleasant walk, in desperation, I went seeking something new, which is when I saw this harness. After reading many reviews, I grew hopeful. The harness seemed to work for "difficult" cases, like our Bella. Without much expectation, I decided to buy it and now...our life has CHANGED.Literally, from the first 10 seconds she had it on, Bella realized the pulling would only result in her being jerked back toward me. From then on, she just STOPPED PULLING. That's the genius of this harness. With the clasp on the FRONT CHEST (rather than on the dog's back), the more energetically the dog tries to run FORWARD, the more forcefully they are pulled BACK! Once that happens, the dog quickly realizes that lunging forward doesn't do any good, and they just stop. All you have to do is hold the leash; the harness does everything else! It basically is using the dog's own "bad" behavior against it. I will never buy any other kind of harness again. What else do I like? Well, the bright yellow looks sharp against Bella's sleek, dark fur. And the reflectivity is quite nice as well! The harness seems well-made and sturdy, and it also adjusts both around the neck and chest to accommodate different sizes. (For instance, Bella has quite a deep chest but a comparatively thin neck. It required a lot of adjusting, but I finally got it where it fits her well in both places.) As far as other features: I like the convenient "handle" on top, for times when you just need to grab your dog. And there's a clasp on top as well, though I can't imagine ever using it given how awesome it is having the clasp on the front. Nowadays, walks are enjoyable for both human and canine. I consider this a "miracle" product, because it has honestly changed our lives for the better. And all because of that placement of where the leash is snapped (see photo). Sometimes, it's the simplest things that make all the difference!

Instant improvement in our walk!
I bought 2 black harnesses for my 65 lb pits (one measures 30 in around, the other 31 in). My dogs love to pull me on walks. When we had 1 dog the martingale collar worked fine for control, but with two dogs it was a mess. They would choke themselves stupid and I felt like a horrible dog owner and dreaded walking them.Picked these harnesses because they are front lead, had great reviews, and decent price.Took them out this morning for the first time. Nice harness, good quality. They were easy to put on/take off, fairly easy to adjust. I left them snug. Dogs didn’t seem bothered by them. The cushion is nice, but was full of loose dog hair when I took it off. Not a deal breaker though.I noticed an INSTANT difference as we walked. They pulled, and would get kinda tugged to the side and stop. I fit one harness better than the other. The poorer fit one was also on the dog who slows down then lunges forward like a psycho, and would get sort of lopsided on the dog. I don’t know if the novelty of it controlled them better or if the side tug is really what works. Either way, we had a MUCH better walk. I think it would be better if I practiced with each dog individually a few times before doing a walk together. Will update this review after using for a while if I think it will be helpful.I’d totally recommend this product to anyone with big dogs that pull who wants to walk them together. Wasn’t perfect, but promising improvement in first use that I’m hopeful after a few uses we will want to add a third dog. Haha

6 years of use and still good as new.
Genuinely well-made and designed harness. We bought one of these 6 years ago and the only reason we had to get a new one was because it got skunked. Otherwise, it was in the same condition it was when we purchased it (and that's after some rugged use). It's intelligently engineered and built-to-last. Kudos to this company--

Good harness but not quite right for my dog
If you're looking for a sturdy harness, this may be the one for you. It's got a lot of nice features, like multiple connection rings and adjustable straps and seems well made. I found it difficult to move the straps to adjust them--everything is very tight and hard to move. I also have a very difficult time unbuckling it. The two clips are so tight, it takes a lot of effort to squeeze them enough for the release. If you don't have a lot of grip strength, or if you have arthritis in your hands, this won't be a good option for you. Our dog is a 13-year-old Papillon, who doesn't pull or need a heavy-duty harness. I was looking for something I could leave on her for part of the day, but this is too bulky and I believe she'd be uncomfortable wearing it for more than the duration of a walk. She also doesn't like that it has to go over her head to get it on. Overall, it's a decent harness, and I kept it as a backup, but I don't put it on her very often for the reasons given. If you have a bigger and/or more energetic dog and can manage the straps and buckles, it might be perfect for your pooch. I deducted 1 star for the hard-to-adjust straps and the overly-tight clips.

Great fit and very durable
We have purchased a few of these harnesses over the years. Love them! They are incredibly durable. Straps are a little difficult to adjust, but stay in place, which is most important. Machine washable- which is great for our crazy dogs! Would absolutely recommend this product.
