This product is more for drilling and tapping and lathe work. No grits at all just pine waxes and oils for lubrication of cutting tools. I would use a grinding paste for engine bores, valves, by Chemico it comes in varying grits, I hope this is helpful!?

can it be used on break pads?

Yes. I serviced my breaks beginning of this year using this product. Obviously... wear gloves and don’t get it directly on the pads.

Can i use it on the bolts connecting a coffee machine boiler together? A hot and steamy application where bolts have a tendency to corrode and seize

Great piney goodness for you lathe

Works great! This stuff is great for multiple uses in metal working, from tapping lathe cutting tools and back saws and drill. Thick and easy to apply low melting point so works well on low cutting speeds. Smell of pine, not surprised as it contains pine oils. If you need quality non stop cutting compound for you lathe work or drill try this, it will not disappoint.
