Good price, good taste, not too salty.....
The media could not be loaded. When i first tried them i didn't know what to think. i hadn't had any sardines in mustard sauce in a long time. i definitely like it that they are not too salty. i have to say the more i eat them the more i like them. They taste good with rice and a pickled vegetable and also with some roasted seaweed snack and maybe with some added mayonnaise. That is how i like mine. So satisfying. i've had them three days in a row. Here is a video. Maybe you 'll find it helpful. Sabiene :)UPDATE: i have really loved these sardines sooo much. We have been eating them sometimes every day for days in a row. We've tried them with the Tasty Bite Thai Lime rice. At first i thought that doesn't fit together, but that combination tastes delicious. i placed 2 more orders after this review since.UPDATE 2: With my last order of these sardines i noticed that the mustard sauce is more liquid, like they added more water to it. What do you think? =January 2019UPDATE 3: i just totally love these sardines in mustard sauce. We got another case after the UPDATE 2 review. i have to say the mustard sauce was thick again and as good as ever. The best!

Bumble Bee sardines at a great price. Personally like mustard flavor
What can ya say? Bumble Bee sardines at a great price. Personally like mustard flavor. Beats store pricing, especially when ordered from Amazon with other items for free shipping. Ran out and purchased another brand locally (Chicken of the Sea). Not as good IMHO. Had even less mustard flavor, though sauce was a bit thicker in texture. It's Bumble Bee for me!

Good for now, better than nothing.
Good value but I kind of like the older bumble bee better, the mustard seemed tangier, however a little too strong but this time it was too bland in taste.

Cheap and tasty
When I went to open the first can the pull ring fell off, not a great start. The insides of the can look like mush, half pieces of normal sardine at best. No order to the packing like I see in almost every other brand I've had. I weighed everything I could fish out with a fork to be under 70 g, a bit lighter than expected. The flavor however was on point. The mustard wasn't very spicy, and the fish was a bit watery. For less than a buck a can the taste is pretty darn good. For reference this is my first mustard sardines after trying about a dozen different types in olive oil. This is NOT premium sardine. It is an easy space filler for the right price and the mustard helps make it palatable without dressing up.Would be a super easy sandwich to make. These things are crying out to be slapped between bread when generally I feel like sardines would be better suited to lay on some steamy jasmine rice.

Perfectly Sauced Sardines
I opened a can as soon as the shipment arrived. I didn't even wait to get myself a fork. I wanted to know the taste and texture without confusion in my mouth by adding rice or crackers. I was pleased! The mustard isn't overpowering like bottled mustard. It gives it a nice slightly-mustard taste without being vinegary. I like that. I will definitely buy these again. Buying the 18 count box is cheaper than purchasing 18 cans at the individual-can price in any store. If you like sardines, this is the way to buy them. And Bumble Bee is definately the company to buy them from.

Cheap (and they taste that way)
Well.... to be fair you get what you pay for. I eat a lot of sardines... usually 2-3 times the price of these, and I can say for certain there is a very clear difference in flavor. The BB sardines are a bid muddy in flavor vs. the briny fishy flavor you get from higher quality sardines.I probably wont purchase them again... I will just spring for the higher quality brands.

Keep sardines always in kitchen. Eat as is or mush them with mayo for sandwich!
No all sardines are canned or taste equally. The mustard is great, sardines are perfect in this product! I keep these sardines in my kitchen always to put on crackers, to simply eat out of can (hungry for mustard, ha!) or mush them with mayo to make a sandwich! Great especially on toasted bread, on rainy day, with soup. Also try the sardines (if you like sardines) in tomato sauce found on amazon.com. Both of these products don't have too much sardin"y" taste ... hard to explain. Mustard and tomato sauces, in each case, cut fishy taste. Enjoy.

The sardines in every can so far are so soft I can't pick them up. They turn to mush. Tasteless.
I've been eating this brand in mustard for years. Including this year from the grocery store. I saw these on Amazon for a good price and figured, what could go wrong?Well it's wrong. Upon opening the can they look like every other can of sardines. The fish are whole and all appears well. Then stab one with a fork and it's like going through water. The entire batch must have been overcooked or something and I can't even pick them up without them disintegrating. The mustard flavor is practically nonexistent as well compared to the same thing I buy at the grocery store.Looking at other reviews I see some people said the same thing. Mushy and tasteless. How have they been consistently good from the store for years and years, but the ones I get off Amazon turn to baby food when I try to eat them? Not happy at all.
