What’s the weight limit on these? Are they sturdy enough to be used as everyday dining room chairs?

I believe it’s 300 lbs. Hubby is 275 and feels secure seated on these chairs. They’re surprising sturdy and can be an ‘everyday’ chair but I find them uncomfortable to sit on for any long period of time as the padding is scant; the dimensions of the seat are a tad undersized compared to other dining chairs I’ve used. High points for quality by price but I need an extra pillow for some cushioning.

Can the pad be removed for washing?

No it cannot be removed. It is a very durable fabric that can be spot cleaned if necessary. These are great sturdy chairs and I highly recommend them.
