So I bought this as for the same reasons most of your are looking at buying it. I wanted something that I could carry in, have a chair, keep my drinks cold all day in, have a place to sit comfortably and then carry it out all in one piece. The backpack and chair part seem to work ok. Day one at least. I’m 180 pounds and it was comfortable enough. I read the reviews of this and see they’ve redesigned the cooler portion of this. Hm. Well I’m not certain? I added a small bag of ice, 5 bottles of water and 2 Red Bull’s. Within 1 hour I noticed a wet spot on my garage floor. Outside temperature is 65 degrees F, and I hadn’t started my day yet. Hm. Fast forward another 30 minutes and it’s time to leave and there’s a puddle. Long story short, I couldn’t actually hike with the pack because the ice water leaking out of the bottom of the pack. That’s a bummer. So I could use this with ice packs I suppose but I don’t own any of those. I’m not sure if I just got a bad cooler or if this shouldn’t be used with ice at all? I didn’t see any part of the description stating that, nor any other reviews talking about it, so that’s why I’m posting this up to help others. If you’re looking to keep cans cold without ice or with ice packs, I think it’ll be great.

Well built , I was worried the back rest would be too flimsy, but it is perfect ... I bought this to have a seat with a couple of beers handy when I’m fishing. Works great!

Used on a recent fishing day at a river and found it really comfortable and useful. Glad we got one for each of us! Found myself wishing I had brought it to other events while we were on our trip because it is useful in a lot of different situations. I’m on the medium-extra-large 260 lbs side and it held me just fine. Good purchase!

Lightweight but still strong frame. Easy to transport.

I bought this for my husband who had a basketball injury in January 2018 and had knee surgery. For two months he had to keep his leg elevated when seated cause it couldn't be bent at all so we got this for him to lay his leg on when we're out. And it's a backpack so he can carry it himself! It worked fine. I do not think it's comfortable as a seat, at least not for very long but it works for a leg rest.

It has a high weight limit, is easy to set up, and perfect for fishing, camping, hiking, sports games, and trips to the park! My only complaint is that we didn't buy more than 1!

Perfect for the many soccer games I have to attend between both my boys. Many times the fields are spread out and I just pack up the backpack part with drink/snacks and umbrella. Not heavy at all...Great product!

Nifty concept. LOVE the removable backpack/foldable portable chair, and the light turquoise fabric color. Just wish the backrest were outfitted with velcro fastenings so it does not fold onto the seat. The backpack has a plastic lining -- and could use a metallic-type of sheen for better insulation of cold/hot contents. The metal frame is pretty hefty. This will make a great gift for a McGyver-type gadget-phile.
