Worth every penny!
After lots of research and measuring we are extremely happy! It fits our tub, is made well, and goes together easily. I can sit low (I am 5’-4”), it is stable, and I am stable in it! The chair glides well, locks firmly but I can reach the lock release easily. I really appreciate that you can remove the middle of the seat so you can clean private areas easier, and am happy for the side handle to make myself feel safer when I shift a bit. I use a shower head on a long hose and can reach everywhere. I put the shower head down between me and the side handle when I do not not want to hold it. I have made two vertical slits in the shower curtain liner where the two glide rods are, not quite as high as the rods. We have had no water leakage onto the floor (do be careful in pulling back the shower curtain liner when done - do slowly). I fully endorse this product!

Seems okay but it's too big for the bathroom
I ordered this because it seemed like a good way to get in and out of the tub after my upcoming surgery but as soon as I put it in place it was obvious that it won't work - there is not enough room to maneuver. The bathroom is just too small. I won't take off stars when the problem is with the house but I would suggest that if you're in a house that's older/smaller you might want to measure the bathroom before you order this. I will see if I can find other uses for it but if I can't I will return it and probably just get a small stool that can sit in the tub. I'm looking into that.

Just got/assembled
My prewar shower-bathtub combo is 16"across X 15.5" deep. Bathroom floor down 16" from bathtub ledge.PROS:Shipped next day via Amazon Prime. Box intact w/ brand new/all pieces as listed & instructions in english. Push button assembly/no tools needed👍🏻... Lite wgt/VERY easy to carry in 1hand. Bench slides smoothly w/ me(160lb) seated on it) & EASY front access lock(as advertised). For $124+holes in seat for water drainage=ALL comparable to $188model. Don't see how the unit could be made better than that✨️CONS:Easier to "tuck in" shower liner instead cutting to prevent water leaking on floor. Will only be using till I can confidently stand on my own. Then 🤞🏻plan to disassemble🤞🏻 & save for other knee surgery. Will flip over after EACH use to prevent rusting.I'm a physically fit YOUNG senior. TotalKneeReplacement not till next week🦿... So then we'll have the TRUE test😅🤣😂

Easy to assemble
Had knee surgery and needed to get into our shower, which has a six inch ledge. This well constructed chair was the answer. It would work well with a tub.

Works great for my elderly father.
My 85 year old father moved in with us and we only have a tub with a shower. He can’t stand in a tub or sit in one due to his bad knees. This chair allows him to sit then slide into the tub area, then slide out when he’s finished. It sits up high enough that he can get up using his walker. It has a safety strap as well so he won’t slide off the seat. I’m so glad I found this for him.

Short slide
The product is easy to assemble, and is sturdy.....BUT, the length of the slide is short. The chair position can either be fully in the tub or fully out....not both. It would be much better if you could have the chair fully out of the tub sit in it and then slide fully into the tub. I believe that's the purpose of the thing. So basically I wasted my money...... I would advise to find a sliding chair that has enough length.

Easily slide into the shower
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my mother after she had a stroke. It’s easy to pull and she pulls the handle on the left to pull her self into the shower, and I have bricks under because the chair was too far off the ground so I have the bricks to hold it up in place. This is a large bathtub so it fits. I also use it in my front bathroom as well and it fits perfectly fine. She can easily transfer from the toilet into the shower after using the restroom
