Good quality (for its type), but didn't fit: Just a tiny bit too large.
I now understand exactly why this screen protecter costs what it costs, and why it has gotten some of the very positive reviews it has gotten. Simply stated, if it fits the phone (and there's the rub), then it virtually disappears, is hard/slick, and looks beautiful. No bubbles; nothing negative. But the problem is, it didn't fit. It was a smidge too large... and by that I mean not even a millimeter too large in both length and width.Sadly, though, that's enough to completely ruin it. If every last nanometer of this protector can't sit flat -- and I mean FLAT -- on the glass, with no part of it touching -- and, therefore, even in the tiniest bit lifted by -- the outer/raised edges of the phone which surrounds the glass, then this thing won't fit and/or look right. Period. And it's so rigid that if one takes even a really sharp pair of scissors to one side, and one end, to trim it a little, it becomes misshapen along said side/end edges. Plus, the tolerances around the ear speaker protrusion are so tight that even that tiny bit of trimming, even if it didn't misshape the protector, made it so the notch didn't fit around the speaker protrusion correctly if the protector is slide sideways just enough to make the newly-trimmed protector center-up on the glass.I know that NuClear wants to make it so that there isn't a big gap between the edges of the protector and the raised black edge of the phone which surrounds the glass, but NuClear is erring on the wrong side of things. Again, the protector is maybe a millimeter -- no, wait, not even that... it's barely a hair's width -- to large; but because the protector is so rigid, and has no give (as would one of the limp ones which must be applied with a liquid), that hair's width made it completely unworkable.I got so angry, I threw 'em in the trash. Of course, I should have returned them for a refund, but I confess that taking the scissors to them, and cutting-up the box, too, was cathartic... for which, who knows, I might have been willing to pay the price of the product! [grin]So I've had to order a completely different brand... also high-end and slightly more costly, like this one; but it's the limp kind, which applies with the liquid. We'll see how that works, when it arrives.I will concede, though, that if this darned thing fit, it would likely be really, really good. It's so hard, and rigid, and clear; and the parts of it which DID stick properly look really nice, and my finger slid over them well. Oh, yes, this is a good protector, indeed......it's just cut a hairs-width too large in both directions (or at least the set I got was).So I don't know what to say about whether anyone reading this should buy it. It's a darned good protector, but if it won't lie absolutely flat everywhere, it won't work. There's no gray area. It's so rigid, it either fits or it doesn't.So, I'm giving it the compromise rating of three stars... 100% of which is for the quality (which would have been five stars had it fit); and I'm taking away two stars (from the would-have-been five) because it didn't fit.Pity. I really liked it, otherwise. Seriously: It's good.Hope that helps!

Easy to install, not a fan of the smudging
This is a good, but not great, screen protector, and worth buying.I got what I paid for with this, but nowhere near the quality of the previous one I had (which was $15 for a single one, but soft and didn't show smudges). I'd link the other one if I could find it. Heck, I'd buy it to replace this!Still, this protector is good value for money and I'm happy I got it.Pro:+ Easy to install! Took less than two minutes.+ Almost invisible when clean.+ Reasonable fit. Slightly smaller than the glass on my focus so I could be misaligned a small bit and have it work.+ Labeled tabs on the adhesive backing to help you remove it easily. That was a nice feature for installation.Con:- Smudges show very clearly. Maybe this is normal for protectors, but different from what I had before.- I don't like how slick the film feels, but then, others may love it.I recommend installing at your kitchen table.1) Clean a spot where you're going to install, make sure there aren't any crumbs or dust.2) Wash your hands.3) Use a little Windex to clean the screen of your phone, wait for it to dry. From this point, don't directly touch the glass of your phone or the adhesive on the protector.4) Lay the protector (adhesive still covered) on your phone front to make sure you have it the right direction and it is the right size.5) Remove the adhesive backing while holding the protector by its sides6) Press the top (by the ear speaker) down onto your phone. Keep your thumb on the top part of the protector to hold it in place: you may need to lift and repivot later, this will help keep from having to lift the whole thing up and risking accidents.7) Set down the cover onto the phone carefully from top to bottom. Make sure it will line up.8) As you slowly put the cover onto your phone, make sure you press from the top downwards, and from the middle line to the sides to remove bubbles9) If you get big air bubbles or misalign, just lift up to where your thumb is holding it at the top, shift it and reapply10) Use the enclosed small piece of cardboard to remove any lingering small bubbles, working from the bubble towards an edge.11) Your phone is ready to use again! These are detailed instructions, it's a lot easier than it sounds here. It took me about 2 minutes start to finish.

Mostly Good
I bought two, as I wasn't sure how well I'd be able to install it.Was a little disappointed that they didn't include a liquid application mix with the screen protectors. In the instructions, they give you a concoction of water and a bit of dish soap to make. I would recommend using a spare spray bottle for the concoction if you have one available. Also, the squeegee they give you is really crappy. The first installation went fine. The instructions and the liquid application made it easier than I thought it would be, but I wasn't 100% happy with the results. So, I removed it and tried the second one.The second time went much better. I managed to get it on with very few bubbles, and no dust at all. To get it on, I did have to carefully, and very slightly, re-lift it a couple of times with wet hands and spray more liquid as I moved into position. After gently squeegee-ing the water out with a credit card, I used the warm air of a hairdryer to help it set around the edges. The screen protector seems of average quality overall. For the most part, I find it comparable to ones you might buy in Best Buy; perhaps, a smidgen thinner, but it still feels reliable. The thinness could also be a positive, as you can barely tell there is a screen protector on there at all. It also fits perfectly on the display -- edge to edge as they claim. It is crystal clear, no discoloration, distortion, etc. One last advantage worth mentioning is that it resists fingerprints much, much better than the bare S8+ screenFor the price (it was on a deep discount when I bought it) and all things considered, I am pleased with my purchase, and would buy it at this price again. Although, I would never pay premium price for it.
