Tribe by Coty Type - Fragrance/Perfume Oil - 2oz Made with Organic Oils - Spray On Perfume Oil - Alcohol & Preservative Free

After reading several reviews, more good than bad, I decided to give this a try on my own. I remember being an almost teen, spritzing myself with Tribe perfume and loving the way it smelled. I always searched for Tribe with no luck. And then I came across this oil. And decided to give it a try on my own. Boy am I glad I did. It came within a few days and I sprayed just 1 spritz on the top of my hand just to test it out. Oh the sweet memories that came back to me. Smells just like Tribe perfume!!!!!, but remember, this is an Oil. The smell is lingering, even as I'm typing this out. I keep sniffing my hand and I finally had to make my boyfriend smell me since he was looking at me like what the ...? Tho he never even heard of Tribe, he instantly loved the smell. Imo, oils last longer than perfumes, and so far, even with 1 spritz, I still smell it. I'm so glad I got two and I will most definitely be ordering more. Such a sweet amazing smell, bringing me back to the 90's, which I don't mind esp nowadays.

Not usually an Amazon reviewer but I needed to share my opinion since there were several mixed reviews regarding this product. This product smells just like the 90s perfume Tribe! The scent does last! This product is advertised as perfume oil and that’s exactly what it is. This is not perfume, it is oil. It takes only a small amount and you continuously get a whiff of the intoxicating scent. My skin was not sticky after application as many reviews mentioned. If you’re looking for a match or the scent Tribe, look no further! This is it! If you are looking for perfume, you will not want this. Again it is oil. I will buy again and again! I’ve been looking for Tribe to be brought back, but for now, this is perfect!

I smelled it directly from the bottle and thought I was duped until I sprayed it into my hand and rubbed it on. It's been a good while since I've had Tribe but from what I can remember all the memorable scents are there. I do wish the scent lingered longer. I don't know what to do to get it to last longer either ... I put it on my pulse-points (neck, wrists, I side arms, back of knees ...) hoping it would help but within a couple of hours the smell is gone. That's my only complaint though. I love that it's mostly (98%) made with organic ingredients., I love the smell and I love that it's moisturizing. I even used a few drops in my wet hair before drying it. Love it 99%!

Not even close to Tribe. Has a slight almost kinda Tribe note bit then that's gone and it's funky...gross even

It smells like tribe matured with me! I wore it exclusively in the 90s, and it fit a teen/young adult. I was a little worried it would smell too much like a young person, but this is perfect. And my husband cannot keep his hands off me! I don't know if it's nostalgia for us, or an aphrodisiac was added and I don't care. This is Tribe for WOMAN! I put on two squirts after a shower before drying off, and I can get it all over my upper body. Soft texture and nicely hydrating. I can still smell it the next morning. I think this bottle will last a while. I gave it four stars because of the sprayer. It's a tiny high pressure stream that makes it spray everywhere if you're not careful. Change the sprayer and it'd be five stars for me!

OKAY, SO does it smell AT ALL like Tribe??? Yes, on initial spray for a VERY short period of mere seconds... then after it sets on your skin, there is this VERY strange yucky after smell that just lingers ... the only way I can describe it, is a mix of the tribe scent but as if someone sprayed a random assortment of essential oils over it- it was really gross so much that I had to wash it off and I ended up returning it!!! aahhhhh I should have known it was too good to be true- I tried. LOL

I'm torn whether to give it 2 or 3 stars...i'm going with 3 because it does seem to be a nice fragrance oil. As far as smelling like Tribe, it does, yet it doesn't if that makes sense. I can tell that it's somewhat close and that is what it is replicating but my nose is also picking up some other note(s) that i just cant explain and i'm not sure if i really even like lol. It's a little sweeter and if you've ever smelled a brand new baby doll out of the box- that artificial sweet, baby powder with a hint of plastic smell they have- that's what it's reminiscent of to me. i would have been less harsh on the review had i paid half of what i did probably. I dunno, if you're looking for Tribe, unless you have $12 to blow, maybe pass on it. ***UPDATE 12/22/19*** We had our family Christmas party last night and I had forgotten I had put this in one of the saran wrap gift balls - the person that got it questioned last night if I was the one who had put that in their bc she had gotten it and has used it all up - she said it's the most amazing thing she's ever smelled and that she gets stopped all the time - she told me she has looked everywhere trying to find it and or the scent it was based on scouring Ulta and stuff - I pulled up the link and shared it with her last night and she was so happy! she put 4 bottles in her cart - so for $12 maybe just try it - it wasn't my cup of tea but it really rocked her world lol
