We have a picky axolotyl and she loves this new food. She loves the taste of it because she gobbles it up every time. It’s definitely great quality food for a great price. The pellets are moist and sink to the bottom for her to find everyone.

Well both my Iberian ribbed newts ate it right away. High enough protein to use as a regular food. Sink fast soft but don't break down overly quick. Tasty enough to fight over.

I always got this to feed my axolotol, he loved this food it smelled awful and my cats always tried to steal the package of food so I had to keep it in a little cabinet just for him. This pack of food lasted him a very long time I would say I had to replace it yearly. He lived a long time but he is no longer with me now sadly. Anyways it was a good buy and he liked it and it grew him really big.

My axolotls seem to like these but I will say they make the tank pretty dirty. I usually feed them frozen blood worms and they like that better but these are good to mix in occasionally.

I have three axolotls - two adults and one juvenile. I’d never fed my adults pellets before since I got them fully grown, but once I brought home the juvenile, I needed to add pellets into the mix. These were an instant hit! Even though my boys have always been on earthworms, on their off-feeding days I give them about eight pellets each, and they gobble them right up. It’s obvious they prefer these over anything else. Highly recommend!

My axolotl came to me as a rescue with very short gill fronds, due to an infection he had when he was young. His pink frillies looked fine, but his little fronds were nubs. After already having him two years, I decided to start feeding him this, and all of the sudden his gill fronds started quickly growing!! It's only been 2 weeks, and his fronds have more than doubled in length. I'm so so happy, and I wish so much I had started supplementing with this sooner! Even with eating a hearty diet of earthworms, he was very obviously missing some key nutrients that he needed to regenerate his fronds. Very happy! Also, I should mention he loves it! I put it in a bowl at the bottom of the tank, and when he's ready for it, he lays over his bowl like a puppy. We're two happy campers!

My axolotls love this one. I purchased another brand and while they ate it, it made the water smelly fast. I was doing more water changes than ever and couldn't figure out what was wrong with the tank. I got them out and move them to a temporary tank with no substrate and noticed that the smell persisted. I switched them back to this food and within a few days the problem was solved. I was able to put them back into their home... after a 100% water change.

The food is soft, not hard and the reviews were great which is why I tried it. My axolotls actually wouldn’t eat this at first. Few days in I think they may now but it definitely took a bit. I figured they’d go crazy over it but one pellet tapped one of my axolotls when it sunk and my little guy freaked out and swam all over the place (they do sink pretty fast which is a plus, just watch where ya drop them)
