Confirmed working with the Adafruit BME280 Library with one small chance
Please note: This part works well, but if you want to use the Adafruit BME280 library, you will need to modify the hard-coded I2C address (BME280_ADDRESS) in Adafruit_Sensor.h from 0x77 to 0x76. Once done, it should work fine out of the box with the code example.
