I had a small tear in a pair of softshell, fleece lined pants i use for hunting and hiking that i had recently purchased. Being in Washington, the spring and fall are wet, so i needed to repair the pants. I cut a part of one patch off and have used them since while hiking all fall and winter without any leaks or failure of the patch.

These iron patches were super easy to use. I cut the patch in half because it was a small hole on my son's sweat pants knee. I laundered the sweat pants first and then ironed on the patch. I have since laundered them several times and the patch is still perfect as when I first put it on. My son has started a trend at his school....lol

They worked at first, but then started peeling off. We were pretty aggressive with the heating during application, but then again, our son is pretty aggressive with his pants, so

They stuck on my clothing through a lot of washes.

Even with careful application, the patches came off in the first wash. This is disappointing. I will try again to see if the same thing happens. I didn't want thick patches and these are medium weight - good for most repairs. I like the color selection.

As usual with iron-on patches for repairs, the adhesion is great but what I really appreciate is the different colors. Do these colors match every pair of pants? No, but they still provide a great range of colors. Great deal for the price and quality

With all the variations of colors we could match the clothing easily - it doesn't even look like a patch since you can cut it to fit the area requiring a patch.
