I don't write many product reviews here, but I have used *many* notebooks, and I am so glad I found this journal. I'm also a little mad it took this long. This is, in my opinion, the best A5 notebook. I've used Moleskine, Leuchtturm 1917, fancy stationary store, hardcover, soft cloth cover, plastic cover, ringed, bound, EVERYTHING. Even though this cover is not real leather, it feels well-made and sturdy. It certainly feels like it will hold up to the few months of daily use it will take for me to fill it up. The internal pages have an excellent weight and smoothness such that I have not had any problem with using my preferred 0.25-tipped pens. The highlighters and fine-point sharpies I've used have also not bled or feathered at all. The pages are a nice ecru/cream, so it's not a stark white if that's what you're looking for. I really prefer the flexibility of dotted pages, and the manufacturing is excellent such that the grids are aligned consistently on each page and at the center seam. What I REALLY love about this notebook is that no matter which page you are on, the notebook lays flat. I doodle quite a bit, and I am able to do continuous lines/patterns from one page to the next. This notebook also has a handy back folder/pocket like many other notebooks.

This is less expensive than the go to 1917, a bit more than the bottom tier dot grid notebooks (don't waste your money on the $9.00 ones. It has a very nice sturdy suede-like hardcover with leather-like spine opens flat and has a built-in pen loop that can hold thin or thick writing instruments. The real winner here is the paper. The dots are dark enough without screaming at you. The paper quality is really impressive at this price point. It is smooth and thick and not overly absorbent. I write with fountain pens 95% of the time, no shadow, no bleed through and very surprising no feather with a fine point Pilot fountain pen and wet ink. It has held up to every sort of marker, pen or pencil I have used in it. (Save Sharpies, they are going to shadow or bleed through, but come on, they're Sharpies.) I will be purchasing another one for 2020 bullet journal and an extra just to write in. I cannot recommend highly enough.

It's hard enough to find a notebook that checks all the boxes for me, but one at this price is even rarer. This notebook overall feels great to hold, even better than a Moleskine, despite the extremely low price. As for some other little things, there's a pocket in the back, a strap to keep it closed, a bookmark, and a pen holder. This notebook even comes with a six-inch ruler! The paper on this notebook is fantastic, and the only logo is on the back corner, and it's very discrete. I have no complaints!

I love this journal! I've had 3 bullet journals so far and this is the first time I tried this brand The paper is of good quality, thickness and durability. The pen loop on the binding is a nice touch and it looks classy. Would purchase again.

Great quality for the cost. I’ve been a loyal moleskine user for over ten years but I didn’t like their dotted notebooks because the paper quality was too thin. This notebook has thick paper and isn’t warping or bending with wear. Great product!

This notebook has super quality pages, they're thick enough that ink doesn't bleed through the pages. I'm very impressed and will be buying another one when this one is full!

This journal is impressive for the price! It is top notch quality, and my calligraphy pen glides beautiful on the paper without any bleeding! I highly recommend this journal. Best journal I ever bought!
