**Q: Has this been discontinued?**
A: I don't think so.

**Q: Is this like the older stuff that was discontinued (in a blue bottle) that could be used as a paint/iron decon alternative?**
A: Yes it can, but really doesn't show any color changes on the surface of the paint. When this cleaner comes into contact with brake dust it does turn a little red. It has a better smell too when using it than other brands. I mainly use it to clay the surface of my truck to provide a catalyst for my clay mit to glide over the surface of the paint to remove any contaminants. It works fine for me and does a good job in my opinion. You'll just have to try it for yourself to see if it works for you. Hope this helps
