Electro Harmonix Soul Food Overdrive Pedal w/EHX Power Supply!

Not my style of pedal. Sounds muffy...maybe because I don't use Ice Pick Single Coil Guitars. Don't care... I returned it, pronto.

The soul food is a very clear, touch sensitive and dynamic pedal. They’re really great with telecasters because they don’t add too much clubby midrange. Definitely smoother overdrive than a TS9

So I had the pedal for a few months then it started producing a high pitched whine. I contacted EHX and they told me that Amazon was not authorized to sell their products. And Amazon won't refund or support so I'm stuck with $100 POS. Don't buy.

Sweet little box...combined with a Vox 15 and a Telecaster...you can rock !!!

All around good overdrive, not too much to comment on. The pedal switch is a little sticky but besides that, it's a solid pedal with a great sound.

I really like the sound I get from this but the pop when switching makes it unusable live. Sent it back and bought a Mythical OD.

nice warm sound before 12, really nice OD after 12. you'd have to spend a lot more money to get something better.

Using with a Vox Virage, fattens up the already fat tone of the guitar, overdrive is great for anything but metal. Love it.
