Very nice coat
I’ve been looking for a wool or wool blend coat for a while. This one is the perfect length—covers the butt but isn’t so long that it feels bulky. I got the “chili” color and the photo is pretty accurate. It’s between red and orange; I would say it’s a similar color as ketchup. I removed the tag, carefully, with the aid of a pair of sharp embroidery scissors. I would not use a seam ripper as they pull too much on the fabric. I’m 5’ 7”, 118 lbs, and bought the size 6. It’s just loose enough to wear a sweater under it, which is what I wanted because it’s not as warm as—for example—a down parka. For a closer fit I’d have gone a size down but this is my only winter coat, so I went with the 6. I was concerned about sleeve length because, in the photo, the model’s wrists aren’t covered, but it covers mine all the way. The pockets are nice and roomy. It feels and looks like a higher end coat.

Classic and Well-Made
I'd been looking for a camel color classic single breasted coat for a long time, and finally found it! This coat has excellent quality, it is well-made -- stitching is precise, buttons are sewn well, the lining and the entire inside are impeccable! Very pleasantly surprised. The style is elegant and timeless, this is the design that is literally eternal. The coast is also quite warm, so if you live in a warmer climate, you can easily wear this in winter without many layers on. Love the color, it is a very nice blend between camel and deep beige colors, in fact, the color is much more versatile as it is a true neutral. I wear 0 and 2 in clothes, XS in all tops. Since this is a winter coat for me, I ordered size 2 and it fits perfectly. The length hits me right at the knee (I'm 5'6) and it sits just about right everywhere without being either too roomy or too tight. Very happy with this purchase, the price was just right, and considering I'll be wearing this coat for years to come, I consider it a worthwhile investment. If you can, do get it, you won't regret it :)

A Tough Call for Petites
I took a chance on a modern pea coat as a short person buying a NON petite coat. While I typically could classify as “petite” (5’1,” 125lbs now?) I don’t think all my proportions fall into “petite” (I have long arms?). It’s also tough to find petite clothing that is affordable. This is a pretty nice coat. I do not look like the models in this coat, I am not tall enough. This coat falls nearly flush with the tops of my knee caps. My daughter, who is 5’3,” tried on the coat and it looked better on her, lengthwise. I also got it a size bigger than I think I need, to accommodate bulkier clothing I may wear under it (like sweaters, hoodies, etc). The coat fits well in the arms, width and lengthwise. It’s enough space for sleeves without looking shapeless. It looks elegant and expensive. The coat is soft and feels luxurious and has a nice satin inlay. I will wholeheartedly agree about the RIDICULOUS white tag that is sewn into the sleeve of the coat for dear life. I used a surgeon’s eye and sharp seam rippers to get it off, and it was so tightly stitched to the jacket. To my benefit and detriment, I took this off the black jacket and I believe they used both white AND black thread to stitch the label to the sleeve. Time will tell if the jacket has residual damage. Ultimately, the jacket fits well enough for the price that I will keep it. I see this for me as a more dressy coat than a casual pea coat because of how long it falls. It’s almost trench length for me, but it is meant to fall longer for everyone. It really is a beautiful and well made coat. It’s a tough call on a short person though.

EDITED: different sizes/colors, but quality is nice
I’ve been searching for an affordable, quality wool coat that isn’t too long and this is perfect! The materials listed are accurate, this is not too heavy but is still 63% wool. Total length is about 36 inches. The buttons are reinforced with thread and buttons on the back, all lines are straight. The outside pockets are large and there is even a bonus inside pocket that is deep! The lining is silky and feels really nice to slip on. The outside is not itchy like other wool coats. I wish it had another button on the bottom to keep it closed. I carefully took off the sleeve label with an eyebrow razor and tweezers, and it looks fine. I’m 5’6”, 130 lbs, 34 inch bust and ordered a 4, length hits above the knee, enough room without being oversized. This is listed on the Calvin Klein website for a much higher price, really great buy! EDIT: I repurchased in a size 6 after the 4 was too tight with a sweater on. As you can see in the photos they are different colors, the 6 is darker camel and the 4 is lighter tan. Size 6 has a lighter lining with a maroon trim. They both feel the same, I’ll be keeping the 6 based on the fit. I recommend going up one size if you plan on layering, there isn’t a huge difference between sizes, it’s still flattering.

Soft and comfortable - good for petites
This coat looks very nice. It was warm, but not heavy at all which made it perfect for travel. It looks very stylish. It was just a tiny bit tight. This coat is a good length for anyone on the petite side. Some coats can be overwhelming and this one was just right.

Great wool coat, bad tag
High quality, looks great, amazing value. I was looking for a wool coat that was above the knees and below the hips and this is the perfect length. Very warm, nicely fitted, can be dressed up or down. I'm giving it 3 stars because it has an absolutely unnecessary tag on the left sleeve - which is on the outside of the coat, btw - which is almost impossible to remove without damaging the coat. Sheesh, what were they thinking?

This coat is so classy looking, quality fabric and cut. I ordered a 6. I'm usually an 8 to 10 but thought Calvin Klein is quite generous. Ii is a perfect fit for me, great with trousers or straight jeans. Good packaging just a slight creasing on the sleeves whish has dropped out already..

I bought this coat as the ones I found in the stores didn’t suit me. This coat is absolutely perfect for me. It is a lovely colour and is just the right length. I couldn’t recommend this item more. 10+

So I have to say, that while some of the on-line reviews were a little helpful....few were particularly accurate. One of the reviews I read, suggested that based on weight and size, I should be looking at a size 6 for myself. I duly ordered the coat (black, size 6) and while I don't deny that it fit like a glove, I'm not sure that any of us want an outer coat to fit like a suit jacket, i.e. very close to the body. Most of us plan to wear something other than a tank top or thin t-shirt. So here's some information that may actually help someone trying to make a decision. I am 5' 9" tall, weight 135 lbs and am built pretty much like a board. I've recently lost a lot of weight, so sizing has been a major issue when ordering on-line. Calvin Klein has been a 'go to' for a long time because of quality, styling and fit. The size 8 is the perfect fit for me....still skimming close to the body but allowing ample room for a sweater or even light weight jacket. As expected, the Klein label means a quality product.....a simple look at the way the coat is lined, stitched everywhere and put together will tell you you're getting excellent value with this product. The fabric is soft....feels like a nice combination of wool, cashmere and whatever....but it certainly doesn't look cheap. I chose black....so can't speak to the depth of color of the camel or plum but I can say that I feel I got a great coat for a great price!
