Still amazed! If you have mcs, it's a must have product!
This product has me purely amazed! As someone who has mcs, and finds it frustrating to have to wash new clothes numerous times to get the chemicals out, or used ones even MORE because of the highly scented detergents in them, this product is truly a MIRACLE product! I thought the green wash ball was good, but this blows that, and anything else I've ever tried out of the water! If you don't have mcs, you might not understand the lengths we go to, to try to get our clothes rid of these toxins. Imagine having to wash new clothing at least 5x's or more. Even soaking them beforehand in vinegar, borax, or other products for 24 hours or more first. Sometimes I can never get the smells out, and I've wasted all that time and money for nothing. Well, NO MORE! The first item I put in, was my pup's dog bed that he threw up on. I didn't even take the pillow case off of it, I just threw the whole thing in the wash. Put the magnets on each side of the washing machine basin, and washed in hot water. No stain remover or anything else, as I wanted to see what these magnets could do. It came out CLEAN, no stain, no doggie smell, nothing. Just clean and fresh smell. The second wash I did was of 2 brand new bras that I'd had sitting around for awhile cause I ran out of my natural detergent, and stopped using the green wash ball because it was making holes in my clothes. I put the bras in a mesh bag, turned the water to cold, and extra low. Because the water was on extra low, I put the magnets on the very bottom of the washing machine basin. One on each side of the agitator. I was nervous......I just knew I was going to have to wash those bras at least a few times. Boy was I wrong!!! They came out smelling like it does just after it rains! CLEAN! That is it! I couldn't believe it. I can't believe it. I'm still in pure amazement! I know this must sound crazy, but if you don't have mcs maybe it's hard to understand how one can get so excited over something so simple..........I just can't begin to describe how miraculous this is! lol Who gets excited to wash clothes??? I do now! I can't wait to go to the thrift store, and buy something to throw in there, cause they always reek of scented detergents so bad, that sometimes I wash them 10 or more times, and still don't get the detergent smells out. That's A LOT of wasted water, electricity, and time, not to mention expensive natural products I use to try to eliminate the smells. Oh, and the magnets stayed right where I put them, even with the dog bed/pillow in the wash. I was sure they were going to be stuck together or on the bottom or something. We do have a very old machine......at least 20 years old. I know the newer models sometimes don't have metal basins anymore. It's not an issue if they do come off though, or you can put them inside a sock before the wash starts. It doesn't matter if they stick together. One other thing that is great is, you don't even have to do a rinse cycle anymore unless you just feel an item needs more agitation or something. There is NO detergent (unless you add some, but I don't know why you would do that as it defeats the whole purpose of the product) to rinse off. With not having to do a rinse cycle, that will save even MORE $$$. Less water, less electricity, and less time! Wash loads will get done in half the time now. I'm just so stoked over this product, I am actually excited about it! It's a must have item for every home, but especially those with chemical sensitivities. So glad I finally had enough saved in my Amazon account to purchase it, and try it out. :) I can't recommend it highly enough, truly. *UPDATE* Still loving this product. I can't say enough good things about it. *UPDATE 3/2/16* Please see comment in the comment section below for the complete update. In short, still using this, still loving it, but there have been a few items it did not work on. I think the odor is literally in the threads used to make it, and the odor won't go away no matter what I've tried. *This product was purchased at full price for my own use.

Works great! Recommend
I bought this as an alternative to buying laundry soap. When it arrived, I was skeptical and have done laundry, intentionally making sure the product works. Here are the results. 1. Odor: Several reviews I read on the product were regarding smell, or lack of smell on the clean clothes. My clothes smell clean. This includes washing an item that was unusually soiled, and the result was a clean item. While my clothes smell clean, they lack a chemical fragrance that many detergents give. This โlack of smellโ doesnโt bother me as I have used other detergents in the past without fragrance due to a childโs allergy to detergent. 2. Stain. The picture of my towel tells the story. During outdoor fall cleanup, I found this towel on the ground, left from my children from months ago - when it was hot for the water. It was filthy, and I knew it was the perfect item to test the product. All the marks came out except one tiny spot - which you can see. Iโm confident if I added a stain remover, nothing would have remained. However, I wanted to test the power of this product to remove stains. It passed! 3. Color. After washing various items, I find my clothes are brighter in colors. Overall, Iโm pleased! This product is cleaning my clothes and replacing my detergent budget.

My clothes feel dirty after using.
I ordered these over several months ago. I've been patient and trying to see if they work but they don't. My clothes don't feel or smell clean after I use these magnets. I'm back to using detergent. Thought it was going to save me money and I honestly don't understand how other people are cleaning that these clean their clothes because it's basically like using nothing for me. And I barely even have soiled clothes.

It actually works!!!
I heard this from a woman on the radio and though โthereโs no way!โ She said her husband works in landscaping so his clothes stay filthy. She uses these magnets to clean his clothes and Iโm thinking to myself, yeah right! So of course I look and read the reviews still thinking thereโs no way you can actually clean your clothes this way! We have a large household and we go THROUGH some detergent. We have even made our own which did cut down on cost but not by much! So I thought I will try this but only to disprove it. I was definitely wrong! It cleans and deodorizes very well!! I have two little ones in sports and they get dirty and stinky and these magnets have NO problem cutting through it all! Dirt, grime, DOG stink. All of it. The only thing Iโll say is that it doesnโt leave the items smelling like flowers. Theyโre clean but not your typical โtideโ smell out the washer. So for things like sheets and blankets, I add softener to the wash or use special fabric sheets in the dryer simply because those things I enjoy to smell fragrant. If you are a skeptic like I was, prove me wrong and try it. I get no benefit from this review, just giving my honest opinion here! Itโs a life saver and money saver too! Do it!

Not For Front Loaders
I have a front loader. The instructions say to put these in the pockets of your clothes to use. What about a load of towels? Sheets? Shirts? Delicates? 20% of my laundry has pockets. The magnets are not strong enough to stay adhered to the side of a front loading machine, they fall off as they hit the zenith of the drums rotation. If you do put them in a pocket, count on a noisy load as they smack about the inside of your machine. They work fine in a top loader where the centrifugal force keeps them adhered to the side. They do work well in a top loader; they should be labeled as "NOT FOR FRONT LOADING MACHINES". Lastly, the cost is off-putting; I missed the 30-day return window which is frustrating due to the false investment which cannot be realized.

It Works!
I was a little skeptical in the beginning - after all, using detergents all my life were ingrained in me. The first question I had was that my washing machine drum was not metal. Customer Service told me that it didn't matter. All I needed to do was to place them on opposite sides of the drum and they would end up together at the end of the wash. True, they did. Not only am I allergic to chemical fragrance but a rash began to develop on my face after using fragrance free detergents I'd been using for awhile. Ultimately I came to the conclusion it was the detergent I was using on my sheets. While on vacation, my face healed, but rafter returning, the rash came back. With that and the fact of saving money by not using detergent anymore, decided to give the magnets a try. I added baking soda to my detergent washes as well and decided to continue using it without the detergent. Bottom line, it's been 3 weeks and so far my clothes appear to be clean - whites are white but not fully bright. After washing my sheets this way, my face is fully clear. Only gave 4 stars because I may have to use bleach once in awhile on some whites, but all in all I'm very happy with this new way of doing laundry and recommend trying it.

They REALLY Work! They get out 2 day old pee smell and dirt! AMAZING!
All I can say is WOW! The very first load I tested included a pair of shorts my 4 year old had pee'd in 2 days prior! Needless to say, they STUNK! I wasn't sure if these would do the trick or not but they couldn't do any worse than detergent which can't seem to get the smell of pee out of our things. Within 60seconds of washing the water was cloudy and dirty looking! It was amazing to see! I stood and watch it the whole time and when the water drained I skipped the rinse cycle and went straight to spin (just like the instructions said to do). Not only did the smell of pee come out there wasn't even a faint scent! They smelled fresh and CLEAN! Normally our cloths smell clean but there is always the lingering smell of pee or sweat. Not with these magnets! I am STILL amazed at the amount of dirt these magnets pull out of our clothes! I follow the directions: place clothes in the washer lovely (making sure not to overload it), place magnets on opposite sides of the washer (I make sure they are attracted to one another because I figure it will pull out more gunk that way), then start the water. I set a timer so the washer won't go to the rinse cycle (it's not necessary..there is nothing to rinse away) and skip right to the spin! Not only does it take less time to wash clothes but I am using half the amount of water and NO CHEMICALS! My husband is a triathlete and has VERY stinky, sweaty clothes. These get out every last bit of smell unlike detergent. I've made my own detergent and have used store bought multiple brands and kinds. None of them could get all the stink out...these magnets DO! Highly recommend!

AWESOME! and passed the cat-pee test with flying colors....
OK I want to be candid here. I went into this purchase a complete skeptic. No one I know has purchased these and vouched for them. Reviews on Amazon were good, the only ones that had anything bad to say was the magnets slip around during the cycle. I didn't consider that a big deal when I look at the bigger picture of saving pretty much $10 a week on detergent for life....that's $520 a year.... First off, let me tell everyone: I do cat rescue. In a LARGE way. This means it is not all cute cats and kittens all fluffy on a pillow, ready for adoption. This is the nitty gritty, crawl in the dirt to catch the kittens in the bushes, trap feral cats, care for hospice cats, the works. My car is a billboard for rescue magnets :) So, of course the worst of my laundry odors is cat pee. My husband has even asked if we want to discuss separate laundry machines for cats and "people" in the house! In any case, I typically do 6-8 loads of "people" laundry per week, and double that, sometimes triple, of cat laundry. And it can be NASTY. In some rare cases, I toss out the item (towel, blanket, pillow, etc) because it is just too far gone to even think about putting in the washer. I am also environmentally "aware" and do my best to pick up trash, etc., whenever I can...and since I am in some wooded areas caring for feral cats, I end up with a pretty good haul of trash or recycling sometimes. So anything that can help us stop polluting the earth is an easy decision for me...especially when all you have to do is stick a couple of magnets in your washer....and no longer worry about what your detergent is doing to the drain field, or adding one more huge jug to the recycling bin every week. So, I stuck these magnets in the washer. I thought, I'll call their bluff on the first load. I put in some cat laundry that was literally awful, at least 3 towels were soaked with cat urine. When it finished spinning, I was right there pulling out the towels and sticking my nose into them....NO SMELL....a "clean" smell - but not perfume....I was astonished and ended up sniffing almost every towel in that load.... THEN I thought, hmm, here's the real test, I have recently been working on a cat hoarder house .... the lady would buy things and open the carton (case in point, from Animal Rescue Site, some footies with pawprints) and never use the item, so the cats would go in the box and pee on everything.... (note: cats did not have proper litterpans in this home). These items in the box were brand new, and the urine had been on them since appx December (so 4-5 months back). I thought, this will be the acid test for these magnets. Well, there was one sock on top which got the brunt of the stain and the smell. That stain was a dark orange color it had been dried on there so long. The stain came out. All the socks had no stains now... (they were all packaged together, stacked).... however the top one still had a faint odor. I re-washed it and it came out odor-free. Now THAT is a test to pass for sure....(note to everyone: anything I can clean and get back to the lady, I am doing it - so these socks are going back to her house after the major cleanup is done). So, I'm sold on these magnets. My TIDE is going back to the store, luckily I still have the receipt :)
