The material was the right thickness, pricing great for the liner feet / quantity. The adhesive needed to be more pliable, as it won't bond with carpet very well.

This is a very helpful product. We bought it a few years ago when we moved into our home that has beautiful hardwood floors throughout. We only used a small portion of the full roll at the time and it worked like a charm. Since then I've also used it when work people have been in and out, as well as to protect various tabletops when assembling things or working on messy projects. There's still more than half of the roll remaining and I feel like it's paid for itself a couple times over already!

Absolutely awful. It is listed for use on wood or ceramic floors - don't do it! You will be scraping with a blade to remove for ages. It does work with carpets but sticks to itself and rolls unevenly. There are much better clear rolls out there, buy them.

I wanted to like this product but it didn’t stick very well to hard wood flooring. Carpeting was even worse. If you catch any exposed end w your foot you wind up pulling it up. It stuck very well to tile. It did not leave any residue. Would not recommend. Updated Review 12/23: This is a really nice company to work with. After posting my review that the product did not stick to all my floors they reached out to me and asked what they could do to make me happy. I found out this is partly my fault as this product is NOT MADE to STICK to CARPET (i wish it would say that explicitly in the description) but it does stick well to tile and somewhat to hardwood flooring. It does not leave any residue even after being down for 3 days w heavy foot traffic.

I bought this based on another reviewer’s recommendation on this floor protector for their senior dog. Our 14 year old dog was sliding on our hardwood floors. Gripping socks and paw stickers were only temporarily helpful. This floor protection has made a huge difference! The product wasn’t too difficult to put down, but a two person job without the roller. Our dog used to stop at the edge of the carpet, looking like she was psyching herself up for the challenging walk across the floor. She’s still learning that she can walk safely, but it’s amazing how the floor covering has helped. The top of the cover has a slight tack to it that we’ve noticed walking with both shoes and bare feet. It has also proven its water resistant feature as the dog needs water bowls nearby, and she’s not a tidy drinker. I wasn’t sure about having the blue color over a clear, but dogs can see blues so I think it’ll help her learn where she can walk. It doesn’t look great, but it does the job and I hope it will last for the remaining months of her life. I recommend this product for anyone who needs to protect their floors and for any senior dog owners!

Bought to cover up the carpet (cut pile) while sanding wood floors in the adjacent room. It rolled out easy enough on flat surfaces and held its position ok. Applying it on stairs was challenging and it didn’t stick particularly well. It didn’t leave any sticky residue but I only had it on for about 5 days. An extra pair of hands when you put it down would definitely help. The film was pretty durable and would probably hold up to heavy traffic if it sticks to your carpet well enough.

Just got my roll that I’ll be applying on a staircase, I like that it specifies where not to apply and the days before risking damage to a surface. All bad reviews regarding not sticking to carpet are irrelevant as this product specifies on their product description and also on the paper that comes with it to not use on carpet…. I’m excited to use it, I’ll update my review after i removing it in about 2-3 weeks. It does feel sticky by the way so I’m positive it will work.

I was really happy to find this made in the USA product in a blue color that would be easy to see, but what a disappointment! The product sticks to itself, to the vinyl floor, but not to the carpet, making it very difficult to lay. I used a similar product many years ago during a house showing and move, and it stuck to the carpet like tape making walking on it safe, while keeping the carpet clean from the many shoes, then peeled up easily for disposal. After struggling to get this down, it bunched up after you walked on it a couple of times, making it a bit of a tripping hazard. It absolutely did not lay flat or stick. We ended up not putting it everywhere we had hoped, as it was too dangerous. I think the photo says it all. Certainly not worth the money.

Great product , I use it to protect metal parts during production

Purchased this product to protect our wooden stairs during reconstruction after flooding. We wanted to make it easier for our trades to come and go without worrying about the stairs. This project was on going and once we were finished with drywall dust we decided to replace the protective covering. We should have removed it sooner because it took the finish off our stairs and has left us with another expensive problem.

Works well, does not leave a residue on car paintwork, even after several weeks outside.
