Works perfectly.
Good balance of firm and tacky. Picks up well and does not drag with proper lube. Enough for two cars.

A little hesitant but it worked well.
I read about detailing clay and did a lot of research. The price point on this is fairly expensive to purchase as a detailing product. I will be experimenting with clay from someplace like an arts and craft store as it had the same smell and texture. I used the clay as instructed for the first time on my 2001 Ford F-350 that is black in color. After using the clay I was impressed with how much crap came off my truck that was stuck to the paint that I was not able to see. It really smoothed out the paint before a good wax coat. I would say this product is well worth it. I also checked online about making my own detailing fluid to use with the wax and saved a lot of money doing so with a good spray bottle.

Works well
It is a great product works well. I do car detailing so this is extremely useful to use to remove iron particles. And imperfections in the paint. But I wish that there was a bit more for what you get. Are use just any kind of quick detailer spray as lubricant and it works fantastic.

Awesome for my car!
I loved using the clay bar on my car. I could tell a huge difference where I used it, and I would highly recommend this product

clay is an most important for car finish
Easy to use, does its job, a necessary item for pre-wax/polish/ceramic coating on any car finish

Not worth the money
My experience as a professional detailer was a big letdown after being told how great this was, especially given the cost. It leaves far more residue and is grabbier than others, such as Adams Fine Clay. While there's certainly far worse (cheap Amazon brands and store-brough consumer grade bars) the cost of this product makes it worthless.

Great clay. Soft and easily molded. Your hands will be happier when you finish.
I've been using Pinnacle Ultra Poly for detailed my cars for a couple years now. It's the best clay bar I've used. It is softer and more easily folded / molded than anything else I've tried. The McKee's Universal clay might as well be a rock by comparison. I opened that package, tried to mold it, and tossed it straight in the trash. Most recently I tried Clay Magic. That's good clay for picking up debris out of the paint, but I still prefer Pinnacle. I happened to have both in my kit and tried them back-to-back. Both pick up the debris (going over with one brand and then going over the same spot with the other brand to see if it picks up anything left behind). The Pinnacle clay is just easier to work with IMO as it's softer. Folding it over to a clean surface and molding it to fit your hand takes less effort. Your hands are happier for it.As for reviews saying it leaves residue behind...I had this early on with this clay. The problem is resolved by using more lubricant. It's only leaving something behind when the friction is too high with the surface and the clay is dragging on the paint. I have also found that a proper clay lube (I'm using Dodo Juice Born Slippy) does generate better lubrication than quick detailer. QD works, but I can say from experience that clay lube works better. If the clay bar does leave something behind it's pretty easy to clean up with a surface prep / alcohol based cleaner (CarPro Eraser in my kit). You generally want to do this anyway prior to a wax or sealant to make sure the paint is clean and best prepared for adhesion with your chosen coating.
