Almost impossible to use given app (camerafi) constantly crashes and is riddled with advertisements. The endoscope itself has an attachment to remove debris from ear etc. and the attachment will not securely stay in place making Orientation while in use extremely frustrating. If the app did not constantly crash and the advertisements on the required app did not constantly pop up then I might recommend. I would return the product but not worth the hassle for 12 bucks. Very irritatingUpdate, company has refunded my money given my troubles. For this, I have increased my review to 4 stars from one. I highly recommend the company designs a more efficient app. Thanks for the cooperation.

Image quality - Lights are bright enough, image quality is sufficient to see what's going on but lots of noise. It's the focus distance that's the killer. The focal plane is too far from the tip of the probe. In really tight spaces everything is out of focus.Connecting to screen - Connecting to my phone was a hassle but I eventually found an app that it could work with. Works consistency with the right phone and app. Couldn't get it to connect with my Samsung S9 even with OTG adapter, had to use an old android phone I had.Usability - For medical purposes this is not a great tool. The light warms up the probe really quickly which is uncomfortable in places like the ear canal or nose. The focus distance is too far from the lens to see anything. The shape of the probe and lens makes cleaning the end of the probe difficult. Lots of nooks and crannies. For things like plumbing or looking behind the oven or under the fridge it should be pretty good.

Use a PC or a Mac to connect for best performance and use any webcam software to see the image, including Photo Booth on Mac.It gets hot when the LEDs are on high and it can be uncomfortable at times but not enough to burn you.The image quality is clear enough to see and make a diagnosis and the camera has no lag.The diameter of the camera tube is 3/16 inch or 5mm. It should fit the majority of the adult ear canals.This product is best for diagnosis. If you want to do more then look inside it's best to seek professional help and not because this is a bad product but because the process requires a STEADY HAND and in most cases training. Pull ear up and back for adults and for children pull ear down and back to expose the ear canal.Don't waste your money buying more expensive ones because there is no real difference. Unless you are buying a professional product $100 and up.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  When purchasing an endoscope/otoscope/borescope, it is critical that you know the range of focus of your application and the scope that you are buying. This scope has a very short focal range starting at 1.5 centimeters, which is great for close up viewing of small objects.- DO NOT USE the links in the supplied pamphlet. They are filled with malware- ONLY use supplied software that can be found from semi-reputable vendors (Google Play Store, etc.)- NOTE This scope does not support 720P. I am only able to get 480P and 30fps.

Firstly, the camera and lighting work great.However, to get that to work, it comes with an old school CD for the driver. Majority of computers it wont work in. So your stuck downloading from site... Seems simple right? Wrong.The description gives two web sites to go to. One doesn't work. The other one does, however the english download link doesn't work. So after messing around on the website, i finally downloaded the app, but it was in chinese. Then all of a sudden viruses and 1049 infected malware apps kept loading and installing on my laptop, and my screensaver is now in chinese.So, avoid at all costs. Again, I dont know how Amazon thought this was Amazon's Choice at the time... I'm still trying to figure out how to get rid of all the stupid programs it installed.

Hi, I purchase this endoscope camera for use on medical way, the camera just works for 3 or 4 second and froze the image, I try with several app and camera software and none, the drivers are useless and was a lose of money, please search for something with better quality, this items don't have any value.

This is amazing quality for the price. I bought one for 35.00 and the clarity was poor. This is great easy to use and easy to see great packaging easy instructions plus comes with an how to cdThanks

I was a little nervous about purchasing this item. When I received it I opened it up plugged it in and it worked great on my mac. The camera was very good and I am happy with my purchase. Thank you.
