This pretend makeup is great! My 3 year old loves it and plays with it all the time. Some of the compacts are hard to open because the hinge and the clasp look the same, but it's more of a heads up to buyers rather than a complaint. My daughter is a little rough on her toys and she hasn't broken any of these yet and that says a lot. I would highly recommend this product for a kid that likes to play pretend with makeup. It's definitely worth the price. The best part is that it is mess free and your kid won't go around looking like a clown.

All kids like to play with "real" things. Well this little makeup bag is perfect. So real. My niece was all to happy to have the real deal. No this is not real make up but it does look like it in the containers. It does not rub off on the kids but it gives them a sense that its "just like mom's". The plastic nor the bag are flimsy. I also purchased another makeup kit like this that had a more well known name and there was very little difference between them. I would purchase this one again!

My 3 year old daughter recently started wanting to do her makeup like mommy and get ready with me. But of course I didn't want to get her anything that was real or full of chemicals. This was absolutely perfect. Mess free. And every piece is absolutely adorable

This was a gift for my 5 year old who wants to always play with my makeup. The makeup bag is great quality, the products are good too. I love how they feel. Look real but are completely fake. No pigment comes off them. I have no complaints about anything except the brushes. I know they’re fake and it’s a play set but when you have a daughter who wants to do your makeup, well you get stabbed by the hard plastic brushes! But yeah it’s all great over all!

I gave this makeup kit to my daughter as an award for good behavior. She absolutely loved it. All of the makeup items are very realistic and more importantly, very durable because she has a very bad habit of dropping things and then stepping on them. She has been playing with this makeup kit for several weeks and has not tired of it yet, which is amazing to me. For younger children, the foundation and blush may be difficult to open and you (or any adult) may need to help them open the foundation and the blush. This is a pretend makeup set with no real makeup.

I am extremely satisfied with this product. The makeup is pretend makeup, yet it feels very realistic. I have a pretty smart almost 4 year old, and I was concerned that she wouldn't be interested in a bunch of plastic stuff. I was looking for makeup that she could play with, to keep her out of my makeup while I'm getting ready for work. These pieces have little foam pads as the makeup. The foam pads are what make it feel so realistic. The compacts are very cute, and realistic as well!

The makeup set is cute. I imagine it won’t last too long. The makeup is little sponges that are not glued down. The bag is cute, however it arrived with a black mark across it. Overall it is a cute set and despite my own observations my niece loved it!

So I bought this because naturally my 2yo wants to do what mommy does, so I have caught her trying to get into my makeup a few too many times and so I bought this so she can have her own. That being said, these products are made to mimic mommy's, and it does to a fault. Keep in mind MY daughter is only 2 1/2 years old, so her fine motor skills aren't the same as a 3, 4 or 5yo. But she had major issues opening it. She absolutely loves it and plays with it almost daily. I just get asked a million times to open them because it was hard for her at first. Flash forward a few months and she has finally figured out most of them and I don't get asked near as much to help her open them. She still loves them it is not one of those toys that got forgotten about after a while. I don't regret the purchase at all. Just thought that maybe I would pass that info along in case anyone else is thinking of getting it for a younger toddler...be ready to have to help out a little till she gets the hang of it. Hope your daughter loves it as much as mine does. Genius product!
