6 month update: chairs are still looking and working as well as the day I assembled them despite a combination of scorching heat and strong storms through the summer. Still very happy with them.After reading some of the reviews about assembly I had my rubber mallet ready and was prepared to do battle. However, if turned out so easy I almost question them needing to say 'assembly required'. Each chair came in three pieces (base, front legs, rear legs) and required only 8 provided hex bolts to be screwed in with the provided hex wrench. The assembled chairs seem sturdy and they look great. Hopefully they'll hold up.My disclaimer is that I have assembled Ikea furniture before, so maybe I just know to expect the worst. I do think it was important to follow the provided instructions and not tighten the bolts fully until the parts were assembled and bolts lightly tightened. Maybe that was it.Regardless, it's only day one (after ordering the day before yesterday), but so far I'm very impressed with the product for the money.

Nov 2022: So far so good. Assembling was easy: I did ot myself and it took me less than 30' for both. You just need to tighten 8 bolts for each. It took me longer to unpack it.The chaises look good. They seem to be well built. Mines were perfect: no scratches, dents or anything.Will edit if something changes with time, but for now I'm happy with the purchase.[Edit] Wife loved these so much that we purchased another 2!

We bought ours in August 2019. In June 2024, here is the review of the product full lifecycle. The lounges are well built, sturdy, simple, clean minimalstic design, easy to move around, great value for the money. The frame is aluminum, it doesn’t rust, and it seems to be indestructable.We kept the lounges outdoor without any maintenance all year round for nearly 5 years, with normal occasional use. We live in southern Texas, exposure to sun is quite harsh. The top mesh gets hot and needs a towel or a pad on the top, when it is used on a hot day. That is normal. The top mesh tore apart on one of the lounges a few weeks ago. That is normal too, after nearly 5 years of exposure to sun, rain and all kinds of weather.The negative is that the mesh is attached to the frame in a way that makes it impossible to replace. Once the mesh breaks, you need to replace the lounge, or both lounges because the other one will probably have the same problem soon.One suggestion to the vendor is to make the mesh sold separately and adjust the design to make them replaceable. Even if the mesh alone is priced with a premium, I would still opt to replace the mesh only, because like I mentioned, the frame is as solid as a rock and nothing wrong with it, after all these years.One suggestion to myself, and other users: Keep the lounges inside when they aren’t used, it may extend the life of the mesh.The lounges are priced reasonably and the best ones we ever used, so we may buy a new pair of the same lounges, but I feel bad we have to throw away old frames. Because of that I would give 4 stars to this product.

I bought six of these loungers for around the pool. Pkging was great, no issues. The ease of putting these chairs together was appreciated. Took me about 15 minutes per chair. These babies hold up to 400 lbs of weight which I also liked for my heavier guests ;) Have used them a few times now and really love the sturdiness and comfort of them. Very happy with my purchase and would buy again in a second if needed.

These chairs are just what I hoped for. Sturdy, comfortable and nice looking. I like the fabric that allows water to flow through so they dry quickly. I am pleased with this purchase.
