Yes it is digital, we have it in our porch and is very efficient. We have used it as the weather gets colder, it’s on for approx 4hrs in the evenings. Hope this of some help.

It doesn't. It kinda works like a tiny radiator using convection. Its pretty good though. We use it in a box bedroom and keeps the temperature well. Setting the timer was a bit tedious though...
