Way Smaller than Spam Can
I bought this to make spam musubi but when I received it, the size is much smaller than the spam can.

Over price.
It sturdy but doesn't as smooth as the pictures shows.

Quality Is unmatched
Amazing quality. I gave it as a gift to my husband and he loved it. (And he's a tough critic!)

Solid, quality stainless steel. Holds rice and tofu together nicely!
Let me preface this by saying I live in a terrible place for both vegans and lovers of Asian cuisine. After much searching, I was able to find tofu (though the only variety they had was pre-diced for salads!) and was able to find rice (though ordinary long-grain rice, not sticky rice!). But, motivated very time I saw my Musubi maker I pressed on, intent on making something approximating Musubi.Luckily, I had some xantham gum in stock to mix with the rice. For those who don't know, sticky rice is sometimes called glutinous rice because its high gluten content is part of what makes it sticky. Xantham gum is often used as a substitude for gluten in gluten-free bread and dishes and shares many of the same properties. After a bit of experimentation, I found about a teaspoon per two cups made ordinary rice about as sticky as normal sushi rice. My local grocery store didn't even have soy sauce but I was able to make do with Worcestershire sauce, which is mostly soy sauce anyway. As seen above, the press is able to keep the rice together in neat little blocks that can be picked up and passed around without issue. I don't recommend using pre-diced tofu like I did in the picture above but it can work, so long as you're going to eat them on a plate. I plan to try this next using tofu cooked in general tso stir fry sauce (one of my favorites for tofu stir fry) and use the seaweed wraps I ordered here on Amazon to get things into shape. I did have some luck with lining the chunks of tofu up in the center and pressing a second layer of rice down on top of the tofu to make a rice cake-like brick filled with tofu, so that is an option for those who want to get creative. It has cleaned up nicely and held fine in the dish washer. I hope to have this musubi maker in my drawer for a long time to come.

Easy to use, easy to clean, but a bit on the small side
Even though this musubi maker is a bit on the small side, that’s okay, as it will help keep me from ballooning up from eating to much rice.(・ω<)☆

the size is sort of small to me
easy to clean and use, but if the size can be bigger would be perfect compare with my previous plastic one.
