I searched different ones for a couple of days and had it narrowed down to 4. I was worried that this one had too much "design" that would be itchy or thick. Since it was the only hand stitched quilt on my list I decided to try it out. Once I recieved it I wished I would have saved so much time and just bought it when I first saw it. It is SO soft, light weight but still warm and covers our very deep temper pedic mattress on a large platform bed. My main worry was that it wouldn't be long enough on the sides to cover the mattress like so many king sized comforters. However, it is long enough to cover both sides nicely and still have extra to tuck into the platform which gives it a nice sleek, fresh look. I wish I would have bought it years ago instead of our white down comforters we've been using.
