Sunnydaze 14" 5-StepTabletop Water Fountain with LED Lights, Stacked Rocks

I’ve wanted an indoor tabletop fountain for years, and after plenty of research, I chose this Sunnydaze model. It turned out to be exactly what I hoped for. The natural design blends beautifully into my indoor garden, and the sound of the water is soft, soothing, and instantly calming. A few reviewers suggested making sure the fountain is level, and that was excellent advice. Once leveled and with the pump fully submerged, it ran quietly with no water escaping the sides (aside from the times I’ve overfilled it). The box lists a larger capacity, but the instructions recommend about 2½ to 3 cups of water, which has been accurate for me. Since it doesn’t have an on/off switch, I plugged it into the same timer as my grow lights, and that has worked perfectly. My home is dry, so I add water every day or so, but I enjoy the moment it gives me to appreciate the fountain up close. I added tumbled stones to each of the wells, which soften the LED lights and help reduce splattering. I placed the fountain on a large planter saucer drip tray and surrounded it with African violets, and the whole setup looks lovely. The pump is quiet, the lights add a warm glow, and the overall effect is calming and uplifting. This fountain brought exactly the atmosphere I hoped for into my home.

Six Months: My fountain continues to work very well. I have cleaned it a couple times, and the only challenge was setting the pump back on its sucker feet properly so that it would not vibrate. Takes just a moment or two. Once it is filled with water, the pump is quiet, and all you hear is the trickling water. I do have to refill it about every 24 hours because of evaporation. I think this is the best tabletop fountain out there, Three months: Other fountains at half the price of this one are half the price for a reason. They have loud motors, cannot be run consistently, or they break within a few weeks. I've been through a couple of fountains, and this is the most durable and the quietest. I have had it for about three months now, and it has performed consistently well. It arrives ready to be set up. My only issue was getting the hatch off of the back (where the pump is. It stuck. But I managed it. I had to re-set the little pump back on its sucker feet in its little cave. If the pump isn't set up securely, it vibrates. But that was only a moment's work. Six months: Still consistently working. In another room, I have been through two other fountains, including one that cost $40. They each gave up the ghost after only a month or so, but the Sunnydaze keeps working. I use distilled water in it when I can. Adding a drop or two of chlorine bleach has also helped. but overall, I don't have problems with algae forming in it. However, the water does evaporate pretty quickly. I suppose my house must be dry. I have to add water every second or third day. But I am thrilled with it. The only noise it makes is the sound of water trickling and flowing.

Do yourself a favor and get an actual brand-name water fountain instead of the cheap no-name chinese junk. I've had this for two years now, and it has worked perfectly including now. I leave it on for days at a time, and make sure there's plenty of distilled water (tap water leaves minerals and residue). It looks great, looks even better with some house plants next to it, overall it is a great and soothing device for any home.

I bought this for my wife to place next to her Orchids, thinking it would add a little moisture to the ambient air around them. I was very impressed with the quality, and the easy setup. It is important to note that you need to make sure the pump is completely submerged. Anyway, the LED's are awesome but why not put one in every tier?? There are 4 tiers but only 3 LED's. It just looks like it is missing that forth tier and seems like it could have been such an easy thing to include. This is the reason for my 4 stars instead of 5. I will fix that 4th tier by adding an LED to that location. There are many aftermarket parts to make that happen. Other than that, it's a wonderful table top feature that works great with a surrounding of plants. ADDITIONALLY: I am normally not happy with about 25% of my Amazon shipping experiences, but this time, I have to say that I am completely happy! I did not think I would get this until at LEAST 5 days later, yet it got to me in two days. THANK YOU! Expected Feb 17th, got Feb 12th! EDIT: I changed my review to 2 stars out of 5. Why? The pump croaked after less than 5 months of use. I figured it would die with continuous use in a year or two, but not after less than 5 months. We only used distilled water, used the water anti-algae drops weekly as-per instructions, and NEVER let it go dry. As a matter of fact, because of evaporation, I checked it every day to make sure it was full. So since it croaked, I decided to do to it what I wanted to anyway. Put an after-market pump in it, and redo the LED feature. After all, I was always irritated that not all the tiers were lit. EDIT 2ND: The customer service is very good. I had a response to my complaint email within one business day, and had a pump shipped and received within 4 business days free because of the warranty. Our feature is working great again, which is why I bumped the rating back to 4 stars.

Beautiful sound like water over rocks in a stream to me. Is well made. Lights are not so bright you can't run it and go to sleep by it. You can also buy a few glass rocks to put over them to dim them if needed. Easy to set up. My concern was if I could ever easily replace the water pump if it went out and from what I can tell in the inside of the fountain you can. Just get a new one likely online or from the advice of their customer service people. The user Manuel it came with didn't match the fountain style but the set up is pretty easy. You just plug in the power cord silver attachment to the cord end match inside the back of the fountain. But not yet to an outlet. Then add water so the pump is covered completely over the top of it with water and there is enough for the fountain in general. I put my fountain in a deep tray first so if I blew it in water amount it would catch it. Then PLUG in the fountain for it to come on. Water flow speed is on the side of the small water pump inside the back of the fountain. Then once I was set, I drained the extra water off of the tray I had to keep the fountain dry on the bottom. The only bad thing on this fountain is it doesn't have an on or off switch for it only the plug. So I like to use what I call a tack strip or a multi outlet strip and surge protector with an on or off switch on it. It works fine so far long as that is all I keep on that strip plugged in.

I received my fountain on 05/19/2016. Before I purchased this I looked at several different fountains. For this particular fountain, I read the reviews and there was one that caused me concern. In short, I should have payed attention to the review. Mine came in a box with other items. The Amazon box was in perfect condition. The fountain box had a large (5"x2") hole through the cardboard box, inner product box, foam packaging and directly to the product. In short, as obvious as the damage was, it was shipped anyway. I removed the fountain and understand why the other review had issues: 1) the 4 connections for the lights & pump were approximately 25% attached. In short, there is no way that these are sealed from the water after filling. There is room for the wiring to stay above the water level, however it is very likely that it will eventually sag down into the water;; 2) the pump cover was not attached, found in the bottom of the fountain; 3) water hose was only connected 40% to the pump and output; 4) for the $$$ there should be an in-line on/off switch so the consumer does not have to plug/unplug from the outlet (think about it, why would anyone want to leave it on 24/7); 5) the owner's manual - really, copied pieces of paper cut and stapled into a booklet, the best part is it wasn't even for my unit. So, I did some minor repair to hide the damage to the side of the fountain (make sure you have magic markers; I finished assembling all connections; cleaned up the mess from the crumbling packaging; washed the inside of the unit to remove excess molding material; took a deep breath and plugged it in, to my surprise it worked (for how long, time will tell). My recommendation is to AVOID this manufacturer. I am not in favor of doing their quality control and quality assurance, and unfortunately paying them for the privilege.

I purchased this fountain almost a year ago and it has worked beautifully. It does require regular cleaning and a fountain solution to keep buildup at bay, but it makes a lovely sound and the lights are gorgeous. I have it in my office and I get compliments on it all the time. The pump died out this morning and after contacting Sunnydaze customer service, a free replacement is being sent (covered by warranty) and it was such a fast, easy call. I will definitely be ordering more products from them in the future!

Firstly, the estimated delivery was about 6 or 7 days, even with Prime (disappointing). BUT THEN I ordered it on October 7th and it came on October 9th! I was very impressed with the unexpected swiftness and very happy because I really wanted the fountain immediately. It is VERY realistic. Appearance-wise it doesn’t even give the hint of “plastic.” And the outside surface of the base actually has the appearance of realistic moss on the stones. I don’t know, I’m pretty sure it might be actual moss. It is heavy enough so that I’m confident that it won’t fall over if it’s bumped but light enough so that I can comfortably move it. I was kind of hoping that the lights on the inside would be a warm white but they are cool white but I found that I prefer the cool white now based on the design/concept of the piece - anything else would have been odd - the cool white is appropriate, when the fountain is the only light in the room it reflects onto the ceiling and it gives the impression of clear moving water being reflected. A warm light may have made it look like dirty water. Also the fountain takes a lot more water than it needs to be baseline functional so you can actually fill it with more water than it “needs” and as the water evaporates over the course of the day, you won’t have to worry about a lack of water damaging the motor or something. And then the discrete closures in the back so that the electric plug looks as naturally attached as possible so that it doesn’t ruin the visual...I can go on and on about how wonderful this fountain is, I really could.

Très belle petite fontaine, idéale pour les balcon de petite grandeur. Son débit est parfait, faut savoir qu'on doit la remplir à pleine capacité pour ne pas entendre la pompe et voir un beau jet d'eau couler. Le soir venu, les lumières intégrées donnent un beau côté de relaxation complète. Très très satisfaite de mon achat, je la recommande sans aucune hésitation.

Easy setup right out of the box! Would recommend this product looking for a tabletop water fountain! The only minor fault is the water sound is minimal and can’t be heard easily.

I love this for fountain for table tops, not too big or too small... Just right! Beautiful and well made looking sculpturing gives it a more realistic feel. The only issue I had is the pump is a bit too loud, which I resolved for the most part by adding some foam as sound barriers to both the inside bottom and outside bottom. I am sensitive to any noises, and wanted to focus on the soothing water sounds more than vibrations of the motor. They could easily redesign this with that added sound absorption, but either way it's worth the buy and brings good vibes into ur home!
