Review: Oak & Steel - Double-Walled Gravy Boat 480ml - I only ordered this because I managed to break one of the china gravy boats that my wife uses for our Christmas dinner, that we'd had for many years... I was a dead man walking and had to find a replacement before she found out (haha).. after it arrived, and I finally confessed to my act of neglectfullness, she actually like it... it's actually a much better option than a standard gravy boat, as it keep whatever is in it hot for anything up to 90 minutes or so, which means that she doesn't have to prepare sauces and gravy at the very last minute... (happy wife, happy life, eh lads?)... To be completely honest, a few days after I ordered this one and it arrived, I found the exact same one for sale in Aldi at a much lower price, so I got her 2 more from there, but they only have them at certain times of year, so, if you're looking for a better solution than the standard porcelain gravy boat and need to save your bacon by replacing a broken one, I'd definately recommend you get one of these. We just used them for our Christmas dinner with gravy, bread sauce and cheese sause in them and they kept everything hot, right to the end of the meal... I know, because I had third helpings! Definately buy one! (or more)
