I took a chance and purchased this. It only had 3 Amazon reviews, but it has a guarantee and it was very reasonably priced in comparison to the other products I researched. I had pooling from my septic in two places, drains were slow and a hose to my husband's shop was not working. My husband had installed a new toilet a while back and it wasn't seated correctly. The leach field got soaked. I had the septic pumped 3 months ago, but continued to have problems. Not good.I received the product and put in the first packet seven days ago. Voila! The largest pooling is completely gone and dried up and the hose to my husband's shop is working again. I put in the second packet today. The second pooling is about half the size that it was. I will have to be aggressive with treatment for awhile, putting something in every month for several months to get the leach fields cleaned out. We are still treating the septic with this product as in 7 days, we have to put in the last packet, but I am very happy with this product. I definitely recommend it. It comes with two septic shock treatments and one maintenance package. I will be looking into using this brand's maintenace product for finishing up treatment and for regular maintenance beyond that. This works, and I am so happy that I found it.

I have a septic system that was emanating some foul odors in the basement. My septic has a separate tank in the basement that pumps out to the main tank. This product seems to have made a significant difference. The bad smells went away completely after a week. Toilets seem to be flushing better.Biowish comes with three fairly large packets. You use one per week. I noticed a difference in a couple of days.I also bought Green Pig septic treatments. They're more economical than Biowish, and have a lot of good ratings. Which is better is hard to say. I would buy the Blowfish septic treatments again if they were more economical. One maintenance treatment is $14.99. Green Pig is designed to be used every 4 months and only costs $10.75 for four packets (Even cheaper if you buy the five year supply, 20 packets).

I thought this stuff was to good to be true but it really works! It doesnt work over night but after a week my septic system was totally restored. We were getting ready to go to the beach for vacation when all hell broke loose. Water backing up in bath tub and kitchen sink. It was a mess. We did not want to spend $400 of our vacation money so we thought it would not hurt to at least try Biowish. It did exactly what it says!! Highly reccomend!

Put the restore portion of this in the system about 3 days ago, the mound was causing issues and leaking to the outside, after use and a few days it appears to be doing better and still improving hopefully. The smell is not completely gone but is much better.Update: The product has been working for about a week now and the system appears to be working much better, previously there was a leak on the mound towards the trees but now it appears to be gone. Also the smell is pretty much gone. I will go to the boost portion next and then maintain the system thereafter but all in all it appears to work very very well.

It has been 5 weeks since we started the Septic Rescue treatment and we are still waiting to see results. We noticed that things often slowed down for a few days after putting a packet in and then it would start draining a bit again. However, we did not get the promised 3-day result and our drains are still slow.I mostly wanted to comment on the money-back guarantee which seems to be the cause of many complaints. Biowish's policy is that they will only give your money back when you provide proof that you had to get your tank pumped or hire a professional to take care of your problem after trying their treatment. I think this is quite fair because some people could lie and say it didn't work just to get their treatment for free.

We were having trouble with our septic tanks for a couple of years. The water line in our house was backing up and my husband would have to clear it out about every two months. Purchased and used this as directed since I was experiencing excessive backup and odor in the toilet. I thought I’d give it a try prior to having my septic serviced. I waited till everyone was in bed and would not use the toilet for the night. Well, after two weeks, everything calmed down and started to return to normal. This was six months ago and I have not yet serviced my septic tank since all seems to be doing well. Be aware of the 60-day guarantee and give it a try.
