Awesome Product
I purchased this product for a Hawaii trip with high hopes that it would work better than my traditional snorkel gear. The trip was a blast using the SeaFin Mask in both the ocean and the hotel pool. I got a large for myself and a small to be shared by my wife and 8 year old daughter.A big improvement we noticed putting on the masks were the soft adjustable nylon straps. Normal goggles have those rubberized straps which make taking it on and off your head painful when your hair gets pulled. My wife was very pleased about that difference. Once it’s on, it’s comfortable and makes a great seal without being too tight on the face. When going underwater the view is awesome and there is minimal fogging. The water stopper that plugs the snorkel when you go under also work pretty well. Even when there was a trickle of water inside, it just filters down the side channels and exits near the mouth vent. All in all, I’m satisfied with the purchase and think it was worth the price for the enjoyment my family and I got out it. I’ll be buying an additional size small in the future so my wife and daughter don’t have to split time sharing on our next vacation. As a nice touch, Shark Gear followed up with nice email to make sure everything went well and we enjoyed the product.

Overall the mask is great. As mentioned elsewhere it probably won't work great ...
Overall the mask is great. As mentioned elsewhere it probably won't work great if you plan on diving deep. I went down about 15' or so and I don't have a big nose but the pressure was pushing the lens against my nose. When I originally read you can't dive deep I was thinking it was because of the volume of air would cause it to pull up on your head but this wasn't really an issue. It just gets a little uncomfortable. The mask includes an extra o-ring for the snorkel tube and another one way valve. If you get water in the mask you can blow out while on the surface and there is a drain at the bottom of the mask with a check valve and it will push out the water. I tried while underwater to clear water from the mask but it seemed to push the air out the top of the snorkel. Not out the bottom anyhow. I suspect the check valve had too much pressure on it. Not a big deal. When you surface you don't have to clear the snorkel tube at all. Just breath normally. The only time I really got water in the mask was a little leaking from the seal because of hair in the way breaking the seal a little. Also I did test it upside down for leaks. I swam down, flipped over so I was facing the surface of the water and rolled back over to test if I got water in the mask and I didn't have any issues. I was impressed by that.As for draw backs. I would say most of them are with the GoPro mount. It works but I would recommend testing it out before going on a big trip. We didn't have time and I would have make some mounting adjustments had I ordered it sooner and tested first. I used it with a Hero 5 Session and the mount is fully compatible but here are my concerns. The nut on the mask is lose. It isn't held in place. So if you remove the camera take care in securing the nut so you don't lose it. I just had an extra thumb bolt and kept one on the mask. It doesn't come with one. This way I could keep the nut held in place when the camera was being used in other mounts. Also the camera mounts pretty high on the mask. This means when swimming on the surface it is actually above the water from time to time. At least it was for me. I would use an extension to mount it a little different. I am considering getting some to mount extend it more along side the mask rather than on top. I could leave these extensions on there and solve my lose nut issue. Or use one to mount it a little lower along the top of your field of view. Another note is that it is a little difficult to talk to others on the surface with the mask on. As well as if you use one of those inflatable snorkeling vests you can inflate it with the mask on. It isn't hard to lift it to do those tasks at all.Overall I would buy it again and recommend it. Just take some time to test out the GoPro mounts before a big trip.

I love it!
I absolutely love this snorkel mask. I have recently returned to regular lap swimming. While I am fine with just goggles when I swim on my back, I am not that great at effectively taking breaths when I am swimming. So after weeks of just swimming on my back, I decided to invest in this mask. I love it! It fits so well, and it really does a great job of letting me breathe comfortably while swimming. So glad I purchased it.

Makes snorkeling more enjoyable. Great product.
Wonderful product. Customer service contacted me before delivery to assure me they would be there if needed. I like that. Used in Kona, Hawaii snorkeling, great new technology. I have always gotten a sore jaw from snorkel mouthpieces. This rig eliminates that. I also have a beard and was worried about it leaking like they suggest. No leaking. All in all a great new product and company. Thank you!

The mask works, but there's a newer version that's better
First, these masks work. It worked for me, my mother, and my wife. They are really only for floating, as many have mentioned. If you dive, the mask will smash up to your face within 3' or 4'. A standard mask doesn't compress too much until you get down to 10'+. You need to make sure it's tight and you'll be fine. Now for the reason it isn't 4 or 5 stars. First, I bought another mask from another company that is a newer version (v2) of these full face masks that came out in the last 6 weeks or so. They have a longer snorkel (8.5" vs. 5.5") and they changed the design of the mouth area slightly. It's minor, but it seems to not compress as much if you go under a few feet. Second, I cannot tell a difference in these masks at all in terms of design and build. Outside of a longer snorkel and firmer plastic in the nose/mouth, they are identical. The straps, mask, silicone seal, o-rings, etc...maybe they are different in some tiny way I can't see, but if you set them side by side, you would say they came from the same factory. It seems telling that the only place it mentions a logo or name on either is the snorkel. Slap a label on it post manufacturing and you're there. I would strongly recommend the new version of these masks, and shop around for the best price. I can't tell a difference between any of the retailers.
