If you don't want to have your pegboard hooks falling out when you remove what the hook is holding, then durahooks are the ones to get. They are extremely simple to install and they aren't coming out unless you unscrew the screw anchor and take the hook out. These durahooks are ideal for using with pegboard (1/8" or 1/4" holes) in the garage or workshop to hold tools...including saws, wrenches, pliers, hammers or garden tools like shovels, hoes and rakes.Just install them and forget about them. This is how pegboard hooks should work. I highly recommend them to anyone. They cost more than the regular pegboard hooks but they are worth it.

The most secure hooks I have found when using pegboard. They have a great selection of styles. They stay in place when you hastily grabbing tools and this also makes returning the tools, to their location, easier Price is a bit high but they mount securely and shipped promptly. I did find that some of the hooks had a slight downward angle and did not come out perpendicular to the pegboards. Easily remedied in a vice

The first thing I thought when I unpacked these was that they were going to pull right out of the pegboard and I'll just be danged if that isn't EXACTLY what happened the first night they were up. I went into my jewelry studio and found two shelves and the crystal beads that were stored there all over the floor. If the screw were on the bottom of the hook, it would have worked much better. There would have been the tab at the top to stop the hook from pulling out of the pegboard. I did not have much weight at all on these, so that wasn't the problem. It's a design flaw. I could turn them upside down so that the shelf stop is pointing down, but just looking at that would drive me nuts (and that's admittedly a short drive) so I had to double the number of hooks per shelf, which means now I'm short. This was kind of the point of getting heavy duty hooks, so I didn't have to use so many. So I'm off to buy more hooks, which will NOT be these!

These are great, strong hooks that I've used to hold quite a bit. Nice feature that comes with 2 size screws to match your perf board. I would buy again!

Hung 24"x48" board. Then installed ten hooks on that board using supplied hardware. Then 7-10 commercial restaurant steam table lids on each. They worked great. I expect them to be there for another 5 years. Very happy

I used this product as a hanging hook for handmade bath items. I bent the pegboard attachment straight and screwed the hooks into solid wood. Provided a good hanger that did not allow items to slip off due to blunt upward hook on end. Good price.

Much stronger than the usual hooks. I love the screw that keeps the hook in place when hanging or removing whatever they are holding.
