A great little resource for helping to think like a Hebrew native speaker
I really like this book. Ruti Yudovich has nailed a lot of problems that native English speakers run into when they try to express themselves in Hebrew the way a native Israeli would. She provides good examples, and it is engagingly written. I onIy wish it were longer and more comprehensive. There are some annoying editorial mistakes, but they don't interfere with the utility of this marvelous little book. Kol ha'kvod!

Reads like a page-turner. Amazingly fun way to learn.
Every page clarified for me some word or phrase that I had never before quite succeeded in knowing how to say.Thank you Ruti!!!!

Helpful book
I have been learning Hebrew for quite a while, and this book is a very nice addition to my studies. It focuses on everyday, conversational aspects of Hebrew - expressions, idioms, phrases, etc - things that are difficult to learn without being immersed in the language. I think that this book would be helpful for all Hebrew learners, regardless of their level.

It's About Time Such a Book was written!
Fantastic book! It finally clarified so many questions I had about these so needed entries. I love the fact that each entry has at least 3 sentence examples. No English Dictionary has it. Each sentence IS translated. So no confusion! And some of the entries even have exercises. This is quite impressive. This book is wonderful for anyone who learns Hebrew as a second language and it is a great GIFT idea. It is like a dictionary you want to have at home.
