Is a thinner needed for gun , tips and hose

If you mean for cleaning, only if you’re using an alkyd or Laquer. If you mean to thin material depends on what your media, tip size and finish desired. I’ve sprayed acrylic straight out of a five. On trim I’ll thin it some when using a 11 or13 tip. Gun comes with a 15.

What tip do I use for spraying lacquer with this sprayer

Do not use lacquer with any airless sprayer. Flashpoint warning is 100* I only use an HVLP for lacquer,( Titan Flexspray ) see page 5 of operators manual where it says do not use
