It looks and feels like a high-quality product, and it does the job: Using this massage bar before and after long runs clearly helps with muscle preparation and recovery. Further, its simplicity and size (compared to more complex products) make it handy to use occasionally almost any where during the day.

Best massage bar on the market hands down. Bearings are so smooth they could be used on a bike wheel. It’s very solid and hits the muscles just perfect. I am not one to ever leave a review but I went out of my way to do so because it works so good and is built very well. Would give it 6 stars if I could.

I was a little unsure about which one of these massagers to try. I already have a nice large diameter foam roller that I like, but the small one with the handles looked so handy. I was unsure about the ones with the independent rolling sections, and being a mountain biker, I liked the idea of the ergonomic hand grips. When this went down $5, I went for it, and I'm so happy I did. The ball bearings on this thing are amazing. The roller portion is very firm but not hard plastic, it's rubbery. The hand grips are just as good as my expensive bike ones, and the size and heft are great. But the best part is hunting down part of my leg muscles that need to be massaged. Areas that are hard to find by hand or with the large roller are immediately obvious using the small roller, and the smooth rolling bearings also helps in the hunt for the knots. I could apply as much pressure as I wanted without my hands getting tired, but with the small diameter roller and the precision that you have guiding it, you don't need much pressure at all to isolate just the spot you want to work. I expect to get a lot of use out of this!

Before starting I will say this is highly subjective as this is my 2nd roller stick so I'm comparing it to my first which is still a highly ranked recommended choice on Amazon. It's the black and grey one with individual rollers and indents. This one is just great. My physical therapist recommended it and it's pretty awesome. It has a good weight behind and the handles I really like as it provides a good grip but versatile and comfortable. The rollers are segmented but one piece so if you have leg hair you won't have to endure the torture of having them pulled. The weight is nice as if your doing your neck muscle even with one hand you can still have it work. Personally it's awesome.

I've tried a couple of the other rollers bought here on Amazon. This one is the sturdiest one so far. The others felt flimsy and breakable. This one feels like a thick bar of solid iron with sturdy grips and durable soft rollers. You can press as hard as you like and this feels unbreakable. That being said, it's really good for rolling out sore leg muscles -- top and sides of thigh, shin, calf. Anything else is hard to reach, so you'd need a partner to roll out back, arms, neck, shoulders, etc. I thought it was a little expensive, but the build quality is worth it compared to anything else I've found on Amazon to date. It's the same one that they have at my gym, but I don't have to share.

I absolutely adore this roller! I had a back injury 2 years ago, followed by a car accident last year. I've been thru lots of physio and one day my dad comes home with this roller from sport check. Its fantastic at localizing muscle knots and teasing them loose. I use it everyday. I've even taken it on my carry on, and used it on the plane. Lol. Yes, there are tons of different kinds of rollers on the market, but the ergonomics of the sklz roller makes it a far superior choice. The handles are made up of a high quality dense rubber. I use this thing all the time on a gnarly knot I've had for the past 2 years in my traps/rhomboids. I usually wedge one end of the handle up against the wall or back of a couch while holding the other handle with one hand, while I roll the opposite neck/shoulder (to keep it in a lax position). The actual roller is unique in that it's actually one long roll, instead of separate independent rolling pieces - this crucial distinction from other products really makes using it way more comfortable. Plus it feels kind of like a foam roller on a stick. This feature helps it glide over the muscle. It's really a pleasant feeling. Since my first roller, its broken a couple times- the handle comes off. Probably because I wedge it against the wall. For that reason I don't dock a star. I attached a pic. It feels so good regardless of if u have an injury or not. Highly recommend for post workout DOMS. Since buying mine, my father, brother, dad and husband have all bought one. Since mine is broken, I've been stealing my husbands, but I'm probably gonna order my replacement one soon! Can't wait #babycomeback

After a pain in my thigh when working out that I though was a hamstring injury, a friend offered his SKLZ stick to see if it would help. A little massaging really helped with the pain and I ordered one for myself, and a cheaper other brand as a spare for my workout bag. The SKLZ is much sturdier than the cheap one and rolls so smoothly it’s much more comfortable when applying a lot of pressure. I have no doubt it will last me years. I don’t regret getting this one at all and will be keeping both, though the cheap one probably won’t get much use. Great product.

Very good physical therapy roller for injuries and recovery. More than I expected. Very happy with product.

This is lightweight and portable. You can easily reach all aching muscles for relief. My partner helps on harder to reach muscles. Wish I had bought this years ago.

Der Massagestab hat eine sehr gute Verarbeitung und durch die Kugellager lässt er sich leicht rollen. Durch die Länge von 50 cm kann man auch gut die Muskeln/Faszien am Rücken "bearbeiten". Für mich war es ein guter Kauf.

Estoy recién operada y el doctor me lo recomendó...lo paso por mi cuerpo y aunque duele un poco me da mucho descanso... en personas sanas no debera doler, por supuesto. Da mucho bienestar. Mi esposo lo usa también para después del ejercicio y mi hija para trabajar el post estiramiento... lo único que no me gustó del producto es que prácticamente ya no puedo usarlo, ya que mi familia se la pasa usandolo. Si fuera malo o feo estaría mas tiempo conmigo... mala suerte.

Okay, you're probably wondering why this meaasage bar is so terrific. First off, I've used many in the past until i came across it at my gym. The unique design of the handles and smooth ball bearings makes it easy to control rolling tension and access to areas of your back, thighs or hip. Mind you, I'm 157 cm/ 5’2” tall and 60kgs and I'm flexible enough to stretch around my body. This tool has been an absolute game changer to post exercise recovery. Gone are the days of sore muscles and tight fascia. Like me, you may be tempted to find a cheaper version but the others just don't seem to perform as well as SKLZ. I prefer the massage bar over foam rollers, lacrosse ball, massage gun, and even an actual masseuse - can you believe that? Anyway, try it and see for yourself.
