**Q: Why are some reviews talking about wire? Is this for heat shrink tubing or wire? Or has amazon got their reviews all messed up again?**
A: Go back and look at the Amazon page for this, It has multiple options to choose from. From 18 to 30 gauge wire, and 2 different heat shrinks 2:1 and 3:1. So depending on what you wan, you have 8 choices. Click on 2:1 heat shrink and that is what you are buying. I agree, when I read a review I want it for a specific product, Not several different products. But this Amazon page lets you choose which item you want to buy and then the reviews are all thrown into the same pot.

**Q: Why is the vast majority of questions and reviews here referring to "wire" when the item is shrink tubing?! Sounds fishy to me. I'm going elsewhere.**
A: I came to ask the same thing, but Im pretty sure its marine heat shrink, which is relly good stuff if you need thicker heat shrink with an adhesive inside. I ordered it anyway.

**Q: Does the adhesive work as a conductor or as an insulator?**
A: Im pretty sure its a thermoplastic adhesive. It would be non conductive until its dielectric breaking voltage. Which is likely very very high. Like in the ranges of 100,000's of volts. Example 100 - 300 kilovolts per centimeter area.

**Q: does this have adhesive inside the tube? or just standard shrink tubing?**
