I've been taking these Metamucil Psyllium Husk Fiber Capsules for about three months now, taking four capsules a day as directed for my routine. One of the biggest benefits I've noticed is a significant reduction in bloating. Old guys need fiber!
It's not like I eat junk all the time. Lunch is always a salad. But it appeared that it wasn't quite enough. So, I pop six of these capsules every afternoon, and that does the trick. I'm sure the quantity differs among people. I started with ten and worked my way down to six. Your milage may vary. The reason I'm only giving it four stars is because of the price. You can find this same product in drug and grocery stores for between five and ten dollars less than here. So, shop around. Good product; inflated price.
