I was doing a substantial overhaul to the dash of my 1993 Ford F-150 and decided that it would be a great time to replace all of the bulbs behind my instruments. When I started pricing out this project with the local auto parts stores, it just seemed absurdly expensive for some little bulbs. I hopped on Amazon and found these 10 packs priced at just slightly more than a 2 pack at my local store. Since there are nearly 20 lights behind my dash, I bought 2 of these. Every bulb works and after a thorough cleaning, my dash looks brand new both daytime and night.

Original halogen bulbs were a direct replacement. I did not reuse the faded green bulb covers Toyota originally used, because the bulb's white glow is a warmer, easier to see color at night. I found this to be the best alternative to LED's in cars with incandescent OEM bulbs. Depending on brand, LED's may or may not be dimmable, and since the instrument cluster is dimmable for various night driving brightness needs, that is a must. Some LED's don't dim at all, others dim somewhat, but these dim across the entire range of brightness.

Fit and worked fine as replacement bulb in the running lights of my travel trailer.
