The smell doesn't last long, how do you know if you got a knock-off?

I bought this for a teenage boy after reading the reviews. He loves it and so do his friends. I am not sure if is real or a knock off but it sure smells nice. I trust Amazon sellers knowing how difficult it is to become a seller and maintain status. If you feel it is not up to par than return it for a full refund. The seller should accommodate.
