Good picture and relatively easy to install
Picked this up to give us rear-view mirror functionality in a cargo van without back windows. Installation was fairly simple, however I did have to cut the camera wire to route it through the existing cable path into the back door. Reached out to tech support first and they confirmed that it could be done, and said that even if I do end up breaking it, they'd send another cable at no cost. The splice itself isn't the easiest: there is an aluminum shield around the outside that is tough to keep intact when stripping the rubber insulation, and the 4 wires inside are very small. Still, there was plenty of slack (they give you like 50' of cable), so I was able to expose all 5 and twist & tape like ends together. I do wish there was a factory-supplied splice option, as many customers will need to do so for cable routing or just to reduce the cable length. While the wires are too small for wire nuts, Wago lever nuts would work well as would a terminal block. Obviously solder + shrink wrap is the best solution. Once the cable was ran, mounting the camera was straightforward. I took off the overhead storage compartment to install the screen upside-down where a mirror would be, and the screen supports rotation and remembers it's setting so once dialed in, it works perfectly. To power it I actually tapped off an existing 120v outlet using the vehicles built-in inverter (Nissan NV2500 cargo) and used a transformer with 12v output rated higher than the camera and screen (I believe I used 1a). This allowed me to turn the camera and screen off and on with a factory toggle switch in the dash. If I ever remove the dash, I'd be inclined to replace that with a dedicated toggle switch and fused DC feed. The image quality is good: standard def but not too grainy. I did notice that bright light sources such as the sun will turn black to prevent it from washing out the rest of the picture, and that it compensates for low-light conditions. I have not yet driven it at night so don't know how well the IR emitters work. Overall the camera has done it's job and tech support was quick to assist. The price was certainly right, so if I needed a similar setup I'd certainly buy it again.

Very good backup camera system.
Very good backup camera system. The 7-inch screen is clear and the 1080P camera gives a sharp image even at night. Installation was simple and it works great for my truck. It feels durable and the waterproof camera is a big plus. Great value for the price!

Quality product for a great price
I recently purchased a backup camera monitor for my tractor, and I couldn’t be happier with it—truly a 5-star product! Installation was a breeze; the clear instructions and included mounting hardware had it set up in under 30 minutes. The operation is incredibly user-friendly, with a crisp, high-resolution display that makes reversing in tight spots effortless, day or night, thanks to its excellent low-light performance. The intuitive controls let me adjust settings like brightness and angle with ease. Product support was outstanding—when I had a minor question, the customer service team responded promptly and was super helpful. This backup camera monitor is reliable, well-designed. Highly recommend

Does the job - wish the camera had a wider angle view. Installed on Dodge truck with Flatbed
The factory camera in my 2011 dodge dually flatbed was horrible - when the sun was shining you couldn't see the screen. Drove me crazy. Plus I needed a 2nd camera to see the fifth wheel hitch on the bed, without one hooking up was trial and error. I tried wireless cameras for ease of installation - and could never get a good picture, so went to this wired version. I mounted one camera overlooking the rear hitch, the other near the top of my headache rack. The cameras are a bit bigger than I would like - the factory camera was minature compared to these. But again - looking for functionality - not so much asthetics. it wasn't horrible running the wires - I used a plastic loom to protect the cable and ran it alon the bottom of the flatbed, under the cab - and into a storage compartment under the back seat. This is where I stored the excess cable that comes with the cameras. I then ran the cables under the floor mat - into the center console - where I have a 12v plug in. I couldn't find any good place to mount the display on the dash or such - so I got another product from Amazon that fits in the cup holder -and holds the display firmly (also holds my cell phone at the same time). The wires just run down and under the seat - not ideal - but it works. This way I didn't have to get into pulling my dash apart - and I can easily remove this if I choose. You can see in the displays where I mounted the cameras - and the pictures it presents. I do wish the back camera had a little wider field of view so I could see 'objects' behind me - but the only way to make it function like I needed - was to mount it looking directly down at the rear hitch. It has helped immensely for hooking up trailers as intended. I have only had these on for a couple weeks - so I cannot yet comment on durability - but so far so good.

worth the money
my dad loves this camera, he drives a very large box truck for work and the camera has made maneuvering his truck so much easier. It was very easy to install and has a really nice clear picture. I got the camera for him because we have an odd shaped driveway and he hated having to back out with two cats on either side of his truck, plus his job has him driving all over town and parking in all kinds of places to repair things. I didn't know much about these cameras but he was really impressed with this one when it arrived. The camera itself is very sturdy and has a strong bracket, it doesn't shift out of place when set but can be adjusted to fit the needs of the vehicle. I definitely would recommend these to anyone without a built in backup cam, it is invaluable to see what's directly behind you and these are really nice and well built for the price.

Simple, effective, affordable.
If you know a bit about wiring, hooking this camera system up is a breeze and with a wide variety of adapters you can use video 2 for nearly whatever you want or simply add another camera for a different angle. I only have one camera but will be adding a second when I get a chance. I use it on my plow truck with a drag plow. Even with it being nearly 30ft long with a front and rear plow I can manage small driveways without having to worry about backing into the owners property. I haven't been using it long but it works quite well in daylight and darkness. The distance for night vision isn't super far but I don't need it to be. If I had any complaints it would be that you cannot select any shorter cable for the camera. A 15ft, 30ft and 60ft would make great options and the screen doesn't dim as much as I would like it to. It gets very dim but I leave it on at all times and it's just bright enough in my truck cab to be mildly annoying. I would recommend if you want something inexpensive that does the job done despite my specific complaints. I'll add some pictures of it installed when I can get around to it.

Does exactly what I need and customer service is also great
This is actually the second display I've installed. It's a no-nonsense, straight forward product that does exactly what I needed. I currently have the first setup installed on a boat to act as side view mirrors. The wide field of view is very handy, since it's almost like having convex mirrors to enhance my visibility. For the second install, I somehow managed to lose one of the wires I needed, so I sent customer service an email fully expecting to be told that I'd need to buy an entire new setup. To my surprise, I got a prompt response informing me that they're sending a replacement cable for free. I haven't yet received it, but given the positive experience I had communicating with them, I have high expectations. I'll update this review with my overall customer service experience after I get the cable, but they've been easy to work with so far so I don't anticipate any issues.

Camera failed after a few months on vehicle.
Unboxing this product was like opening my new iPhone. Very high quality packing and a great first impression. I have not yet installed my backup system, but my initial impression is good. The monitor (tablet style) looks to be well made. The camera appears to be exceptionally robust with good weather proof sealing and heavy grade metals on adjustment pieces. Cabling is sturdy gauge and appears to be adequate length but again I have not installed. The only issues I see is that the monitor housing appears to be a little flimsy compared to the high quality of the rest of the product and the same is true for the monitor mounting bracket. I wish they had used a thicker more flexible polyurethane for the monitor housing and the mounting bracket. The plastic they used appears brittle and may well break the first time it comes loose from the dashboard. These two issues are why they did not get 5 stars. Update: I still have not put my RV on the road since the back-up camera was installed, and it just failed. I estimate total usage time as less than one hour overall. On the monitor I get the backing distance lines, but no image. I carefully installed and waterproofed the backup camera. My second camera for right side lane changing still works well and looks beautiful. However I now have to uninstall the back-up camera and put another camera in its place. This is a big hassle. The product looks good, but apparently is not of good quality.
