As someone with a gluten and dairy allergy, finding decent candy, let alone black licorice, is usually a nightmare. But these are a total game changer.The texture is spot on for licorice - a nice chewiness without being overly tough or crumbly. It's got that perfect give. The best GF black licorice out there! The taste and softness is perfect for me. It has just enough chewiness for my liking. My only complaint is that a couple of times, I have received batches that were not as fresh, and a bit chewier.

Absolutely gross! Taste funky and don't look like one's I have purchased from Walmart. Product could not be returned so they all went in the garbage!! Waste of money. I notified the company of there product tasting bad and possibly having a bad batch but they never wrote back. They must not care about their customers and our satisfaction. Oh well, won't be buying these ever again and if you are reading this review this is your warning to not waste your money either!

This is one of our favorite "healthy" candy for the adults and kids alike. It's not the same as normal licorice, but definitely satisfies the licorice craving. Our family is split - some like the little pieces, some wish it were the normal ropes. These are not the super soft kind, they are slightly harder/chewier than the "regular" brands and they seem to get a bit more of the stale taste faster. Color is satisfying even with no dye. We have replaced all our licorice with these as they are a good enough substitute.

What can I say? I’m addicted to these. They taste great. Very fresh and a good value

I had ordered 2 cases of these a while back and they were amazing! I ordered another case recently and I’m disappointed to find that the recipe has been changed. The old ones had a dryer texture to them that didn’t have the same texture as licorice, and I absolutely fell in love with it. These new ones are more like licorice and I’m so bummed!! While the flavor is still good (even if it also changed as well), I just didn’t want this texture!

These are delicious, but the ones I was sent must be old. They are so hard it hurts my jaw to chew

I love this stuff. The best taste and texture. And it's gluten free. Please don't ever stop making this!
