Great coating, 7" handle a little too heavy
I've been using these for just over a month, and I am very pleased with this set. I've made several things in the bigger pots and pans, but I use the 7" frying pan every other morning, alternating it with a separately acquired 8" frying pan of the same brand I bought 3 months prior. The only criticism I have is that the 7" frying pan handle is just a little too heavy, making the pan tilt on the burner and not make good contact unless there's fairly heavy food in it and the lid on it. This is a minor annoyance, but worthy enough to mention. Also, it needs to be noted that proper use and care of these pans is necessary to keep the non-stick aspect going.Yes, after about a month, stuff cooked directly on the pan with no oil will stick. This is normal. Just because it is "non-stick" doesn't mean that nothing will stick. It mostly means it will be easy to clean up. You must still use a small amount of oil to keep food from sticking while cooking. Not nearly as much as pans without a coating, but some is still needed. It is still FAR easier to clean off food that might stick to these pans, and in my experience, even a very small amount of butter, about a quarter of what I'd use to butter toast, is enough to keep anything from sticking.Second, DO NOT "pre-heat" the pan. If it gets too hot, the pan will out-expand the coating and cause microfractures in the surface, making it worse than a pan without a coating. It can reach the "too hot" level far quicker than you think when there is no food cooking. If you're cooking something that needs a preheated pan, use cast iron.Lastly, make sure not to use too much detergent if you put these in a dishwasher. Too much detergent will etch this surface just like it etches glasses. This etching will ruin the non-stick coating. If you hand wash these, there's no worries.

Still looking good
Update: It's been just over a month and my set still look and work like new. I actually posted a big note on the range hood describing my rules for using this set so my adult sons won't ruin them. Since it's been a month I'll stand by my word and reseason them now. It's worth a few minutes to keep them working so well.My rules:1. No turning the stove higher than 7. No non stick pan should be used at high heat.2. No metal utensils. So the pans aren't scratched while cooking.3. Hand wash only. It's easy since nothing sticks to the pans.4. Wash only after pans have cooled. Keeps the pans from warping.5. Do not nest the pans. So the bottom of one pan can't scratch another pan.I did order a couple of silicone handle grippers. These hollow handles do transfer heat quicker than the solid metal handles of my worn out set of pans. I've yet to be using a pan long enough on high enough heat for the silicone to be required, but I do notice that while the end of the handle is still cool and I can still pick it up with no problem, the closer to the actual pan the handle gets then the hotter it gets. Physics. I can easily tolerate warm handles and using the silicone covers if needed because of how great the non stick function on these pans works. Food slides around so easily in these pans that I can flip it like a professional chef. I can't say enough good things about these pans. I'm glad I pulled the trigger and bought them.Original review:I just got them and at a great price. The first thing I did was to hand wash them. Then I coated them in canola oil and put them in the oven at 300 degrees for two minutes to season them and then wiped out the excess oil. The next morning I used one of the pans to cook my breakfast. Three pieces of bacon. They provide their own grease of course, but never even came close to sticking. They slid around the pan like I've never seen before. Hash brown potatoes next. No sticking at all. I can flip them in the pan like a professional chef. Now my egg. The potatoes had sucked up all the bacon grease and I added no oil or butter so my egg slightly stuck to the pan, but it easily broke free and slid around. (Next time I'll add a dab of butter or canola oil before cooking the egg. Somehow, with everything cooking so easily, my breakfast tasted better than usual. No sticking. No fighting. No adjusting stove temperature. My ceramic stove has the following settings. Simmer, Lo, 1 thru 9 and Hi. I turned the burner to 5 and left it there during the entire cooking process and everything cooked perfectly.I intend to ignore the contradictory claims of this set and will take good care of them. You know, dishwasher safe, but hand washing recommended. Safe for metal utensils, but silicone recommended. So, no metal utensils. Hand wash only. Wash only after the pans have cooled. Never turn my stoves burner higher than 7 (more likely 6 since 5 cooked my breakfast fine). I won't even nest them. I intend reseasoning them once a month. I'm retired and have the time and I want to keep them in the great shape they are in right now.It is true that the handles can heat up. My old (formally non stick) pans had solid metal handles that never had this problem so I really didn't expect these handles to heat up. However, these handles are hollow and so the heat crawls through them much faster than solid handles. That said, while cooking my breakfast I never had a problem touching the handle and never needed a mitten or pot holder. I did check though and found that the portion of the handle closest to the pan did get to hot to touch. The portion of the handle that I needed to touch only got slightly warm. Those that have handles get to hot may have the burner turned up to high or else their pan may be on the burner for a very long time. I can see how if I'm cooking something like fried chicken that might take a while that the handle might eventually get hot so I might go ahead and order some silicon handle covers. So far I have no complaints with hot handles and I love these pots and pans. I'm pretty good at updating my reviews should things change, so if the pans start to peel, stick, warp or have other problems I'll update.

Love these
Had these before gave them and loved them. So I got a new set for me and gave the other set away. Very easy to clean however I recommend you do not put them in dishwasher so they last longer

Good overall but handles get hot. Awesome knives.
I really like this cookware as well as the knives that came with it. I like that food doesn't stick to the knife as I'm slicing it. The cookware is very light weight, doesn't stick, and super easy to clean after. The only factor that made me give 4 instead of 5 stars is that the handles do get hot if I'm boiling something or if it's been cooking for a while. Recommend overall.

Love so much I bought my parents a set!
I loved my Blue Diamond set so much that I bought my parents a set. I bought this brand because of it's promise of toughness. I am not gentle with my cookware, and I haven't seen a scratch yet. For the most part they are anti-stick. Some foods still will stick like eggs if you don't use butter or oil. However, they are super easy to clean.

Nice Set at a Very Nice Price
We got the 20 Piece Set of Blue Diamond Cookware about a month or so ago. I spotted it on sale during Prime Day and bought it without consulting my wife, a 'usually discouraged practice'. Anyway, it came and my wife went looking for reasons I shouldn't have spent the money on it BUT she found out how well rated the cookware is, what those who bought it thought, and what a fantastic value it is for the price. THEN she looked it over and declared it good. There have been nothing but praises being sung for the individual pieces she's used to make her dishes. Is it the very best possible cookware EVER? I'm thinking there's got to be better, but the reviews say Blue Diamond is better loved than the brand that "only the best restaurants use" and that 'Clad' brand that Shouting Gordon hawks. The secret really is the Value-to-Price ratio, and Blue Diamond 'nails it'. It looks good, too! Put it in your kitchen.

No stick pots and pans
I have a set myself. Love it so much I bought this set for my daughter. If you want it to last long, I suggest not to use any metal utensil on it at all, even though they say you can!

Easy to use
The Cookware is of great quality. It's really non stick. I made an omelet and it slid off the pan easily. The heat distribution is fine making cooking and cooking times reluable. Cleaning up is a breeze. I have yet to try them in the oven. One disappointment are the utensils. They are cheap and break easily. The spatula couldn't stand the heat because it was melting. However no regrets.

Great set of pots and pans
Amazing price for such a good quality set of pots and pans. Love the beautiful blue colour and its non-stick. Happy that it is dishwasher and oven safe. I had imagined that the size of the pots and pans would be a little bigger than they actually are, but that is my bad for not checking. They are a little heavy, and the handles can heat up so be careful (metal handle not silicone). Personally found the turner to be too flexible and hence useless to me. Otherwise, I would highly recommend it!
