Perfect. Found water was leaking into the trunk of my 2020 Nissan Altima. Re enforced original weather stripping with this and the problem has been solved. Great product. Clean area of dirt and debris prior to application. Adhesive holds strong.

Very easy to install. Blocks out noise very well on my 2015 Toyota Corolla S, especially on the express way, and keeps my car well insulated. Only small downside I noticed is a bit more effort closing the car doors.

I bought a 2019 x5 that was beyond loud on the highway in crosswinds. I used this product to add weatherstripping around the doors and to the area around the mirrors. I’d say it was about 60% quieter than before and makes the car bearable. Money well spent. The adhesive was so-so, but has held in the last few weeks.

Easy to apply on various car hood. Seems to stay on well. Should reduce the amount of dirt getting into the engine bay.

The top vent window on the camper shell on my 1997 Ford Ranger XLT has been leaking for several years. The original weather stripping under the glass has deteriorated over the many years it has been in the sun. I found this and another size of weather stripping to replace the old and leaking weather stripping. It was just the size I needed and it glued into place well with some black silicone rubber. Now I need to have it rain to see if it seals up and not drip water onto the bed liner of the truck. It seems to be made well, and only time will tell as to how long it will last. Stay tuned on this issue....

It does not survive rain or sunlight heat in the summer. Although I cleaned all surfaces this was going to be applied to with 91% isopropyl alcohol, the weather stripping started peeling off 3 weeks later in some sections around bends. On a perfectly straight flat surface these may work well enough but around bends like on car doors they did not. Also do not use this in places that are visible because the adhesive changes color from gray to ugly yellow/brown as it ages and is exposed to heat, rain and dust. My car is a very dark shade of brown and the surface heats up in the summer sun and I assume this is too hot for the adhesive to survive in my application which is sealing around the trunk door and hood. If this really is 3M adhesive tape then it is fake but I am not 100% sure as I bought 4 different weatherstripping and I did see 3M backing on the adhesive on one or more of them. So do not assume it has 3M adhesive tape. The price was not too high and this product is not total crap but like I said it may not stick in areas that are not straight and flat.

I installed the trim on my two vehicles. I used three rows and a heat gun ( with a lot of trim left over). It reduces wind noise and keeps the heat and AC inside longer, saving me gas (because I don't have to run the A/C or heater constantly). You will have to shut your vehicle harder just to make sure it's closed.

Decided to use this to repair my port hole, and hatch seals. They worked great! Easy install, and the 3M makes it a breeze to adhere to metal or plastic. NO LEAKS!!
