I bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter, and it turned out to be a brilliant choice. She absolutely loves being creative, so I was confident this would be right up her street — especially as she’s done similar art projects before and really enjoyed them. From the moment she opened it, she was excited to get started. The kit has everything you need to dive straight in, which is great, and the metallic paints give such a lovely, eye-catching finish. She’s already created a couple of beautiful decorative stones that look genuinely impressive and well finished. What I love most is how absorbed she gets while working on them. She’s said she can completely lose herself in the artwork, which says a lot — it’s relaxing, engaging, and really satisfying to do. It’s been lovely to see her so focused and proud of what she’s made. Overall, this was a great hit and a really thoughtful creative gift. I’d happily recommend it to anyone buying for someone who enjoys arts and crafts or just wants a calming, creative activity that produces something special at the end.

Perfect child’s game, well made and it was great fun

It’s ok for what it cost, very basic and although the book with it is good a lot of the colours are not in the pack. However, it is still a good purchase to get you started

Fun with grandsons, they liked the colour mixing as it was different to the usual primary colours but the drying process was way longer than suggested.

The book is VERY thin, the kit does not need rocks in the package ( they are free on beaches and the forest !). So I bit disappointing, I thought that the book would be a book: not a pamphlet !

Excellent birthday gift for an artistic person

The kit was cute and the paints were great --- colors were beautiful, especially the sparkly ones- the suggested color mixes worked too and were surprisingly nice--- but WOW the idea book was really fantastic- what clever easy ideas that make one's painted rock look like it was professionally done - learned some neat techniques. Almost worth it for the book itself (written by an artist)- though you would need the paint to do the designs- so glad it came in one kit. And rocks that were a good size (some more perfectly smooth I think they tried to get the best ones they could in the kit). They seem to be missing the color red but I think it was only used in one design and if you have other acrylic paint you could use I guess -so many other ideas did not really need the red though for the rest. Note - after you get done painting one side of a rock and it dries - we realized we could paint the other side - even with a totally different look! Twice the fun!

Enjoyed this with the kids ! Paint was hard to break the seal and was messy as it did not have an extra piece to pull the seal back if that makes sense . Dotting took was crap as it’s basically a kebab stick and it’s wood . Nice paint brush but only get one so order more separately. We ended up using cotton buds for dotting and painting worked better …. Still nice activity to Do with the kids just get extra brushes and order the other dotting tools online
