Collins Cherry Syrup with Real Sugar, Maraschino Drink Flavoring Syrups for Cocktails, Dirty Soda, Smoothie, Lemonade, Cocktail Mixers, 32 oz Set of 1

One of my simple fav treats, the Shirley Temple, this is the flavor that puts it over the top! (Try the pomegranate option as well!!) Made with real sugar, so its sweetness is pure and crisp. The options for this syrup are endless. Add it to a vanilla frosting and top a sugar cookie, mix into an angel food batter, or cocktails! With a deep red color, and texture it could be a non-toxic, limited ingredient, tasty Halloween costume prop, and for a much better price!! Its compatibility with other foods, drink, or however is all but seamless, easily blended and smooth.

It has the sweet taste of cherries and mixes well with cocktails, sodas and ice cream. I am currently using mine to flavor my iced tea. It is delicious.

I really do like the syrup a lot. I’ve been using it for cherry old-fashioned. The recipe originally called for the syrup in Luxo cherries and Luxo. Cherries aren’t really that large. It’s only a little bit so I thought I would try this brand and it comes out wonderfully I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

This syrup is OK. I liked the fact that it had the maraschino taste to it. I wanted to make slurpees so I decided to try this. The flavor is good, but I had to use quite a bit to get the sweetness that I wanted. When I finish the bottle, I think I will try a less expensive way by making my own flavoring with koolaid and sugar.

This is the best Cherry Syrup I've found so far: the only one (that I've found) that contains real cherry juice (10% according to label), no artificial color, and great cherry taste! I mixed 3 ounces into a 2 liter of lemon-lime soda and it overpowered the lemon-lime flavor, I think 2 ounces would be plenty for most tastes. While it has hints of Maraschino flavor, it's definitely not the same as Maraschino Syrup. There is a different brand that is marketed as "Maraschino Syrup" with no artificial colors, but only lists "natural flavors" with 0% juice content, I will be trying that one soon!

I bought the Collins Cherry Syrup strictly for use in my favorite cocktail. I had been using Luxardo maraschino cherries, adding one cherry along with a bit of the syrup they are packed in, but holy cow!, they’re expensive! I really don’t need the cherry itself, just a touch of the syrup for sweetness, so when I ran out of the Luxardo I looked around for a quality syrup to use instead. That’s when I discovered Collins Cherry Syrup. It works perfectly in my bespoke cocktail creation, and I don’t miss the cherries. In case you’re curious about my drink, it’s called a Carla & Al (an inside joke) and here’s the recipe: In an Old Fashion glass 2-3 dashes of orange bitters A teaspoon of Collins Cherry Syrup 2 parts Canadian or rye whiskey 1 part Christian Bros. Honey Brandy 4 ice cubes (optional) Enjoy!
