Sabatino Truffle Pasta Night: It’s always a great night when there’s truffle pasta on the table! Introducing the Truffle Pasta Night Set that creates a luxurious, decadent dish, which is also gluten free (and guilt free!) that can be made at home. Gluten Free Truffle Pasta is a dried pasta made in Italy, by master pasta makers, using local grains (corn and rice flour), and infused with dried summer truffles. The All Natural White Truffle Infused Oil combines robust and earthy aroma of white truffles with pure olive oil. Use as a finishing oil to drizzle a few drops onto the pasta, and also try it on eggs, pizza, proteins, and vegetables! The revolutionary Truffle Zest is a black summer truffle powdered seasoning. Sprinkle onto your gluten free pasta dish, and also try it on eggs, popcorn, rice, and proteins.

Tasty, but not worth $50
Look, I get that truffles are expensive, but $50 for 8oz of pasta, a tiny bottle of truffle oil and a shaker of truffle zest feels a bit ridiculous. My wife and I bought this to make ourselves a fancy dinner at home with a couple of nice steaks and baby asparagus (both cooked with the truffle oil and zest). After we were done we felt like it was pretty close to what we could've had at a nice restaurant, but that we would've paid less eating out (and gotten complimentary bread!).The pasta is tasty, and cooks to al dente in the time recommended on the bag (which is in itself a bit of a shock for a gluten-free pasta!). The texture is good, and it gripped a simple oil / pasta water / Pecorino Romano sauce quite well. The oil actually has flakes of truffle in it, which is more than I can say for similar oils at the supermarket. The real treasure here is the zest, which I will be using on popcorn for a very long time (especially since we bought 2 of these boxes). It really does live up to the term "zest" with a flavor that electrifies the tongue and pairs well with everything from pasta to ice cream. The only reason I can't rate this more highly is truly the exorbitant cost. For half the price (or even 3/4!) I would be singing its praises under a 5-star rating.

Truffles are my life
I bought this when it was $28 and boy was it worth it. The truffle zest is my FAVORITE part of this package! I opened it to sniff it and my mouth started to water. I also made an ultimate truffle night with truffle pasta carbonara with truffle zest and truffle oil and it was the greatest thing ever. I'll have to order more of the truffle zest when I run out (which will be fast at the rate i'm using it...)

Unique... a taste of bougie pasta?
I would say, only get this if it's on sale ($25 or under). The pasta itself has a slight aroma to it and better than regular store bought pasta for sure. The truffle zest is the real highlight for sure, delicious as a garnish or you can toss it in your daily stir-ups! The white truffle oil is particularly good on salads to switch it up from the olive oil. The amount of pasta you get might be good for 1 date night so the retail price ($50) wouldn't be so hot. Not to mention you would purchase more ingredients to pair the pasta with. Overall it makes for a nice little gift set as the packaging is nice and neat so nothing gets damaged.

Taste similar to black garlic/soy sauce check exp. date
Check the exp. date I noticed the oil tastes rancid and the exp. date is in only 4 months something this expensive shouldn't be so close to going bad. It taste like black garlic mixed with some soy sauce to me. I wouldn't pay so much for it if you catch it on sale for cheap then maybe.
