Does the job for low voltage downlights!
This wire worked perfectly for the outdoor kitchen I’m building! I used it with some outdoor hardscape lights and a transformer. The lights wiring wasn’t long enough so I used this wire to extend. Low voltage lighting is an easy task that anyone can do. This wire makes it easier!

Heavy wire for doggie fence
Bought this to wire my property for underground doggie fence and the wire is OK the controller after a lighting strike was completely fried, but wiring is good still.

Great value and high quality - Spool broke in transit
I purchased 500 feet. The cost was the best I have seen for that amount. The wire / insulation was of excellent quality and was easy to separate between the wires to make connections and easy to remove insulation for transformer connection / attachment. Yes, as others have mentioned, the plastic spool gets broken in transit. Not sure the fault - could be the plastic / packaging, could be handling, could be a combination of both. This did create a pain in removing the wire from the spool in order to cut and lay-out the design. If this happens to you - find the ends and uncurl the wire from the spool. Then pull the wire away taking care not to allow more tangling or the wire to get tight around itself which will take time to straighten. For 10 minutes of hassle, I saved a lot of money on wire. Once I had the line straight and separated from the spool - the normal lay-out / design process was no issue. I will purchase from these folks again in a heartbeat. Marc - SC

Outdoor LED Landscaping Cable
For small distances of up to 100ft and load of 50W this cable is ok as the main supply cable. However, for longer distances, use 12/2 or 14/2 as main supply cable and this one -16/2 to branch out. Generally branching out will reduce the voltage drop a lot, rather than putting all lights on one cable. I used this 16/2 as a branch feeding cable to remoter areas of my yard and it worked out very well. It is UV resistant and allows to be directly earth laid. The only reason why I need to reduce the rating by half a star is that it does not come on a drum and this makes working with 100ft a bit inconvenient. 4.5 stars therefore my rating.
