I read many negative reviews about these toys and I must say that looks like people expectations are the problem here.No dog toy is indestructible, especially fabric ones don't have a long life unless a dog just carry them around or sleep with it.Most fabric toys aren't suitable for tug of war games, because no matter what kind of stitching , the stress of pulling eventually will rip them.Dog with high pray drive always will play rougher with a squeaker toy, and said squeaker are no match for dog teeth.I got the large coral dinosaur in July for my young Labrador (she is 9 months old now) and after 5 months the toy is only missing one ear and it still squeak.Now she is not fixated on chewing unless she is bored,which in my experience with dog is almost always the case after the teething stage is over, but the average life of her squeaky toys is usually two week to a couple of months depending on the toy quality.I'm extremely please with the quality of this toy,so much so that I am ordering more.However if your dog destroy fabric toys in hours maybe you want to consider rubber toys (Kong has some good ones) or nylabones.

Our German Shepherd Chance says that this brand of toys is the best around. When offered a new toy of a different brand or an old half-destroyed goDog toy, he would much prefer the goDog.We have two 35lb Mini Aussies and a 75lb GSD. One Aussie is a squeaker remover and the other is a stuffing puller. Our GSD is relatively gentle with toys but has one helluva strong "chew." This brand of toys holds up well and the dogs seem to prefer them. I like that the squeakers are difficult to remove, they don't have "hair", and they have limited stuffing, making them safer for the dogs.These toys have what the company calls "chew guard" to help prevent them from being torn up. Have realistic expectations.. This is a fabric toy. If your dog is a focused chewer, nothing short of Kevlar is going to prevent them from shredding through a toy. In our house these last about a month before they are ready for the trash can. Comparatively, your standard cheap-o $3 supermarket plush toy might last a day or two.Highly recommend.

So I'm going to give this whole brand a 5 star. Can the ears/tails/wings be ripped off? Yes. Is there a plastic squeaker inside you'll have to take away? Yes. Does my dog destroy them? Yes.BUT.It takes him significantly longer to destroy these toys than any other soft chew toy I've bought him. My dog is a 100lb power chewer. He destroyed his metal crate when we brought him home. I've tried everything kong makes, those "fire hose" snakes, even the bullymake box. Usually, he just gets bully sticks or yak treats to chew because he destroys everything else. He even chewed up part of the flooring in the laundry room. These at least last long enough that I don't feel like I'm wasting money in buying them for him.So if you watch the prices, you can usually get toys from this brand a heck of a lot cheaper than most other brands. I usually will buy a few at a time when I catch them on the cheaper end and then just give them to him one at a time. He usually has one for a couple of months before it's too gross and destroyed to keep around the house.

Our 6 month old German Shepherd puppy loves this dragon! It has quickly become a favorite in just a few days. The dragon's wings make a crinkle noise and it's belly squeaks. It's perfect for fetch and tug of war. He also loves to just carry it around, squeak and shake It. Will definitely buy more toys from GoDog.1 month update: We still love Dragon, and I've bought 2 more GoDog toys.I see a lot of reviews with shredded toys. It's a stuffed animal. It's not chew-proof. It's harder to chew through and more durable (for tug of war) than regular stuffed animals. Our GSD definitely chews things up. He's shredded plenty of regular stuffed animals. But he also has Benebone wishbones, that have been helpful in him not chewing up other things, like stuffed animals or the baseboards.

I would say, “Aggressive Chewer” is an understatement when describing our fur baby Odin. He is THE DESTROYER OF WORLDS well, at least the destroyer of all things stuffed with squeakers. We have literally spent thousands of dollars on pet toys and chew toys for him and his sister Athena. Bullys are like that, so when I saw this GoDog Dragon Skinny Squeaker toy, I didn’t have high hopes for it lasting for than a day or two.To my amazement, this thing is a BEAST of a plush toy! Odin plays with it every single day and it still squeaks! No fluff coming out anywhere. Nothing and we’ve now had it for 7 months or so! He almost babies it when playing tug of war, my guess is because he loves it so much. The most amazing thing is the squeaker though, it’s not the average tiny round squeaker found in most toys, it’s long, about the size of a toilet paper roll, and I’m sure it has been punctured hundreds of times yet, keeps squeaking like it was brand new!We’ve had really good luck with most of the GoDog plush toys but this dragon is by far the most durable and the one he seems to enjoy the most. I definitely recommend if you also have a “Destroyer of Worlds”living with you.

Best bit - for me - this toy has a large squeak bladder - I'm not scared of my boy getting it out and swallowing it if he does break through the 'chew guard' coating.The toy has lasted over 24 hours - which is good for a destructive Patterdale, even with missing teeth, most toys are in pieces in hours.And, as well as the Amazon guarantee, this comes with a 30 day replacement guarantee from the manufacturer - I haven't checked the terms and conditions on that though.It is a cute toy, with lots of detail and reduced choking risk for a small dog with the size of the squeak bladder. I have one very happy dog.

My dog LOVES this toy. Since I gave it to her she hasn’t played with anything else. I bought it because she loves a stuffed toy to play with, but always ends up ripping them open, flinging the stuffing around the house and I thought hey, chew guard fabric?! Sounds great!Great in theory. Within an hour of having it, she’d ripped a hole in the nose and since then this poor dragon has gained even more injuries. It’s withholding my dogs chewing as much as a normal stuffed toy (that’s not made for dogs) does.At least I know it’s dog safe!Very cute but I wouldn’t buy again.

Bought this toy for my beagles 2nd birthday someone recommended it to me, I expected it destroyed in no time at all.Five months in and still intact, this is a 1st for a Teddy, I have since purchased another go dog toy, I'm really impressed with them, have recommended them in our beagle group and to friends.I have bought many other well known dog "tough" toys which have been shredded, the go dog are definite value for money and very durable, will be buying them another for Christmas lol.

Good all rounder toy for a dog that chews but to be honest it's the fault of the owner that let's the dog chew things up. My terrier is a rescue and he chewed every toy for a week then his lessons began! A little time and patience you can teach a dog not to do it within a few days. The squeaker inside this toy doesn't really work any more and that is down to my dog just clenching his jaw on it which is natural for the dog to do but the whole thing is still in one piece so very happy with the quality of this toy

As per usual GoDog toys are the best., It's got a great squeak and crinkle wings. They are our dogs absolute favourite, even though they are the same size as her. She loves soft things but also loves to charge around with and rag them about, so others don't last 2 months. GoDogs last forever and even when they do get a little tear they are very easily sewed back up. Too many toys now as she just can't break them like she used to!
