Potkuri ceiling fans are controlled with a 3-speed pull switch and operate with 180, 130 and 80 revolutions per minute. A manual switch on the fan’s housing is used to switch the fan from summer to winter mode which allow cooling as well as recirculation of heat in the winter. The Potkuri would also weigh more than just 7kg. Potkuri with Walnut / Walnut-Cane Blades Walnut wood counts among precious woods and is therefore often used for sophisticated high-class furniture. Combining this design with aged silver was a wonderful idea. The Potkuri features five blades with a total fan diameter of 132cm and a maximum speed of 180 revolutions per minute. This makes the appliance a perfect accessory for rooms with up to 25m² size where it works efficiently without creating unpleasant draught. Three speeds with pull cord The low weight has the benefit that the fan can be mounted to different ceiling constructions, including inclined ceilings. On high speed the Potkuri consumes a mere 58W despite 180 revolutions per minute. On medium and high speed the wattage is reduced to 40 and 26W with 130 and 80 RPM. The five blades operate quietly on all speeds. If required, the Potkuri can be upgraded with a remote control or wall speed controller. The forward and reverse summer and winter function is activated with a slide switch on the housing. When instaling the unit with the drop rod the entire fan has an overall depth of 33cm from the ceiling to the bottom of the switch housing. Thanks to its flush-mount option the Potkuri is suitable for a variety of ceiling constructions in old and new buildings. The 132cm diameter indicates the Pepeo Potkuri works best in small and medium-sized rooms with up to 25m² size. The speeds are controlled with an integrated pull cord, however a more convenient remote kit and wall controller are available as well. Solid technology, appealing design The Potkuri ceiling fan range combines the benefits of premium manufacturing with a timeless and versatile look. The five blades reach a fan width of 132cm and are finished with two different decors on the front and reverse. That means the blades can be mounted either with the smooth side or the cane side facing downwards. The black blades are the only blade sets that don’t feature a rattan inlay. Instead, their reverse side shows two silver stripes at the end of the blades. Solid construction, quality finish and quiet running, what more can you ask for in a fan. It has 3 speeds and two directions, we find the middle speed is the best at night as its almost silent and shifts a fair amount of air. It takes a bit of assembly but the steps are all in the manual and its worth it, most people with a bit of DIY skills will be fine.

The colour of the wood is slightly different than the image. It is more brighter. The fan is well built and the blades are two sided so you get to choose which side you wish. The brass internals is top notch.
